During the annual investment meeting Congress 2026 held in Dubai on Tuesday, the Department of Industries has signed an MoU with M Global Foundation for the purpose of promoting a dedicated food processing park in Bihar to facilitate investment from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
It is noteworthy that under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Samrat Chaudhary, Bihar is emerging as a new destination for investment, innovation and industrial development. Continuing this trend, Department Secretary Mr. Kandan Kumar and M Global Foundation Chairman HE Dawood Al Shajawi signed the MoU in the presence of Industries Minister Ms. Shreshi Singh. Mr. Mukul Kumar Gupta, Director Industries, Government of Bihar was also present on this occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Industries Minister Ms. Shreesi Singh said that this partnership with M Global Foundation is an important step towards making Bihar a preferred destination for investment. The dedicated food processing park, to be developed with UAE investment, will help our farmers and industries connect to global supply chains. It also reflects the vision of Chief Minister Mr. Samrat Chaudhary to accelerate industrial development in Bihar.
Mr. Kandan Kumar, Secretary, Department of Industries, said, “This MoU will lay a strong foundation for systematic cooperation between Bihar and UAE investors in the food processing sector. We are committed to working with Aim Global Foundation to identify concrete investment opportunities and further develop this partnership.
Under this MoU, M Global Foundation and Bihar Industries Department will work together to develop an integrated agri-food and food processing cluster. This will attract investment from companies, institutions and investors in the UAE and the wider Gulf region. The move aims to tap Bihar's agricultural potential and establish the state as a major sourcing and processing hub for the Gulf countries' food supply chain.
