Ranchi: The first phase of the SIR awareness and training campaign in Jharkhand, organized by Emirate Shariyah of Bihar, Odisha, and Jharkhand, has been successfully completed, Alhamdulillah. Under this campaign, training programs were held at 56 different locations in all 24 districts of the state for a month, in which the public, social workers, religious leaders, and people from different walks of life participated in large numbers and received training.
Amir-e-Shariyat Hazrat Maulana Ahmad Wali Faisal Rahmani Damat Barakatuhum said in his message on the success of this long campaign that correct information and awareness about SIR is an important need of the time. Emirate Shariyah, realizing its religious and social responsibility, started this campaign to remove misconceptions among the public, to better understand legal and social aspects, and to enable people to get accurate guidance with confidence. He said that this campaign is not limited to training but is a serious effort to promote awareness, confidence, and mutual cooperation in society.
It is clear that the Election Commission of India is preparing for SIR in various states, including Jharkhand, where parental mapping (matching the 2003 voter list with the current voter list) is underway. Since this SIR is different and more complex than before, if someone's name is not in the 2003 voter list, the required documents such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, and ration card, etc. have not been included by the Election Commission. Therefore, Hazrat Maulana Ahmad Wali Faisal Rahmani Sahib Zaid Majdahum Amir-e-Shariyat of Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, and West Bengal felt the need to alert every citizen, without discrimination of religion and community, in advance so that when the time comes, they can protect themselves from any major difficulty.
Under this objective, a delegation consisting of members of the Emirate Shariyah's research team and experts on SIR-related matters, including Janab Mufti Qiyamuddin Qasmi, Dr. Hafizur Rahman Hafeez, and Maulana Ikramuddin Qasmi, was sent to Jharkhand. The delegation was led by different responsible persons of Emirate Shariyah on different days, including Mufti Muhammad Suhrab Nawabi Qasmi, Deputy Nazim of Emirate Shariyah, Maulana Qamar Anis Qasmi, Assistant Nazim of Emirate Shariyah, Maulana Ahmad Hussain Qasmi, Assistant Nazim of Emirate Shariyah, and Mufti Muhammad Anwar Qasmi, Qazi Shariyah of Emirate Shariyah, Ranchi. This delegation left Patna on December 29, 2025, and reached Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, and trained a large number of people at multiple locations in each district of Jharkhand until January 31, 2026.
The individuals who received training undertook the responsibility of assisting every citizen, without discrimination of religion, creed, or community. Finally, they thanked all the residents of Jharkhand who participated in this training campaign in any way.
The message of Hazrat Amir-e-Shariyat was conveyed to the people by Nazim of Emirate Shariyah, Bihar, Odisha, and Jharkhand, Hazrat Mufti Muhammad Saeed ur Rehman Qasmi, in a press conference. The Nazim of Emirate Shariyah presented the details of the month-long SIR training campaign, stating that during this campaign, training programs were organized at multiple locations in each district, considering local conditions, and question-and-answer sessions were held, and practical guidance was provided to the public.
It is clear that workshops were organized using projectors to provide practical training to young people, using materials prepared on SIR, in which educated, aware, and socially motivated young people were prepared to play an effective role in the field. Many training programs were attended by members of tribal communities, who received training.
In the press conference, Hazrat Maulana Qamar Anis Qasmi, Assistant Nazim of Emirate Shariyah, Mufti Muhammad Anwar Qasmi, Qazi Shariyah of Emirate Shariyah, Ranchi, and Maulana Ahmad Hussain Qasmi, Assistant Nazim of Emirate Shariyah, also expressed their views, highlighting the importance and usefulness of this campaign.
