Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi targeted the ruling party on Wednesday outside Parliament, displaying an unpublished book by former Army Chief Manoj Mukund Naravane. He allegedly based his remarks on details from the book about events during the 2020 military standoff with China, accusing the government of abandoning the military during a difficult time.

Rahul Gandhi, displaying a copy of Naravane's unpublished book outside Parliament, said every young Indian should see this book, which contains a detailed account of Ladakh. He is not being allowed to present the book's contents in the Lok Sabha.

Rahul Gandhi wrote a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, expressing displeasure over being denied the right to raise national security issues in Parliament as opposition leader.

Meanwhile, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, supporting Rahul Gandhi, said he often quotes books during his speeches. Rahul Gandhi was quoting a published reference, just like the Prime Minister quoted Sanjay Baru.

Central Minister Giriraj Singh said Rahul Gandhi is lying. If he has the courage, he should demand that a contempt of court case be filed against us.

Regarding the letter from opposition leader Rahul Gandhi, which alleged he was not allowed to speak in the Lok Sabha, Central Minister Kiren Rijiju said he has been responded to. He is speaking out of turn. We waited for two days, but others should also be allowed to speak. He cannot do as he pleases; this is the Parliament of India.

Meanwhile, suspended parliament members protested today over their unexpected behavior at the Parliament complex yesterday. During the protest, a heated exchange occurred between Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi and Central Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad's junior minister, Renuka Singh, and later with Union Minister Ronit Singh Bhatu, in the Parliament complex.
