RSS decides to increase focus on youth and women

Moscow, 4 November, Russia's First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov has said that his country is ready to expand cooperation with India in the field of civil aviation.
Mr. Manturov told Sputnik in an interview, "Russia is a partner that is ready to work with India not only by supplying modern aviation technology but also by developing India's domestic aviation industry. In this regard, we understand that there may be mutual interest in expanding cooperation from the military sphere to civil aviation,"
The two countries have a long history of successful aviation cooperation. The famous MiG-21 and the Su-30MKI multirole fighter jets are manufactured in India under license.
He further said that India's industrial sector is developing rapidly under the "Make in India" initiative and its air transport market is "growing rapidly".
Mr. Manturov said, "Russian superjet planes have already carried more than 40 million passengers and are actively operating on both domestic and international routes through Russian airlines. As work progresses, the production of new aircraft models will increase. This will promote cooperation with Indian partners and more concrete discussions can be held on it,"
In September, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Alexey Gruzdev said that the ministry considers Russia and India to be good complements to each other in the field of civil aviation and believes that cooperation in this area can soon gain "new momentum".
During the 26th Russian-Indian Intergovernmental Commission meeting held in late August, Mr. Manturov emphasized the need to strengthen partnership, particularly in the areas of chemical industry, metallurgy, and transport engineering.
