The truth of vote theft is ending the confidence of Modi-Shah: Rahul Gandhi

Former Congress president and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and party General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra have alleged that the Election Commission is not conducting elections honestly at the behest of the government and if it works transparently, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) cannot win a single election. Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, addressing a large rally organized by the party at Ramlila Maidan on Sunday under the title 'Vote Chor, Gaddi Chhodo', said that at present, the country is witnessing a struggle between truth and falsehood. The Congress is on the path of truth while the BJP and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) are conspiring to win elections by following the path of falsehood.

Rahul Gandhi said that the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, gave importance to truth, and the Congress is following the path of truth shown by him, but RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat says that 'power' is necessary, not truth. For them, lies are everything, and they are enjoying power with the help of lies and deception. He alleged that the BJP steals votes and gives Rs 10,000 to each voter during elections to pave the way for victory. According to him, giving Rs 10,000 to voters during elections is the biggest vote theft. He targeted the three election commissioners by name, saying that they are helping the government together. He warned that if the Congress comes to power, it will make laws and the three election commissioners who help the BJP win elections through vote theft will be punished for conspiracy.

Rahul Gandhi said that the BJP is winning elections by stealing votes in different states of the country. Although it is following the path of lies, ultimately, truth will win, no matter how long it takes. Attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, he said that their confidence is shaking due to lies, as they have realized that their vote theft conspiracy has been exposed. The whole country is getting to know this truth, which is why both are frightened and their confidence is dwindling.

Earlier, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, addressing the rally, said, "Today, institutions are being attacked, the judiciary is under pressure, Congress bank accounts are being frozen, Congress leaders are being harassed without any evidence. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is being sent, raids are being conducted, and the government is not willing to listen to anyone." She said that if the BJP contests elections honestly through the ballot and does not steal votes, it cannot win a single election. According to her, the BJP cannot win elections without the Election Commission. The Election Commission is helping the government and destroying democracy. Everything from election announcements to voter lists, voting, vote counting, and EVMs is being used to help the BJP.

Priyanka Gandhi termed the government a failure on every front, saying that only the flags of constitutional institutions are being lowered here, and the Election Commission is helping the government in an irresponsible manner. She said that history will never forgive this attitude.
