In Benoni, South Africa, India's Under-19 team has decimated South Africa's bowling attack in the third Youth ODI. Thanks to blistering centuries from Vibhu Suryansh Vansh and Aaradhya Yadav, and a record-breaking 227-run opening partnership between them, India has set South Africa a monumental target of 394 runs to win. South Africa's decision to bowl first after winning the toss turned into a nightmare when the Indian openers adopted an aggressive approach from the very first ball, with Vibhu Suryansh Vansh (127 runs) completing his half-century in just 23 deliveries. He smashed 21 runs in a single over from Michael Crossman, hitting two fours and two sixes. He completed his century in just 63 balls and hit 10 sixes and 9 fours in his 74-ball innings.

Aaradhya Yadav (118 runs) also showcased excellent batting at the other end, scoring a brilliant century and consolidating the team's position. After the first wicket fell at a score of 227, Vedant Thakur scored 34 runs to maintain the run rate, however, the South African bowlers attempted a comeback in the middle overs, picking up wickets at regular intervals. Abhishek Pahal (21) and Kushal Chauhan (10) could not play big innings, but in the final moments, Mohammed Anaan (28 not out) and Harnesh Patel (19 not out) accelerated the scoring to take the total to 393/7. For South Africa, Enzo Symonds was the most successful bowler, taking 3 wickets, while Jason Rawlins dismissed 2 players. Michael Crossman, who was hit for a costly over by Vibhu, could only manage one wicket.
