We will have to do politics to bring about change in India: Rahul Gandhi
In the Lok Sabha, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi said that we should engage in such politics that brings change in India. We should be involved in such politics where the poor, Dalits, backward classes, and tribal communities of India are included in the power sector. Rahul Gandhi severely criticized the central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the trade deal with the US.
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi was addressing a program on Social Change Day at the Indira Gandhi Foundation here on Friday. He said, "Today we remember Kanshi Ram's struggle, his vision, and his impact on Indian politics, and we thank him from the bottom of our hearts." Gandhi said that Narendra Modi has handed over India's energy security to the US. Modi gave everything to the US in the trade deal but got nothing from the US in return. Instead, tariffs increased. Gandhi alleged that all of India's data has been handed over to the US. The entire Indian market has been opened up to the US. The US was told that it would buy goods worth Rs 9 lakh crore every year. What will happen to our farmers and traders if American goods come to India?
He said that the trade deal with the US has been stalled for the past four months because the government is reluctant to compromise on the agricultural sector. However, shortly after his speech in Parliament, Narendra Modi called Trump and indicated his agreement to the trade deal, citing Trump's tweet. The deal that had been stuck for the past four months was finalized by Narendra Modi in 15 minutes due to the Epstein file and Adani.
Rahul Gandhi said that the Congress is a poor party, while the BJP has become a rich party because Narendra Modi has handed over the entire financial structure of the BJP to Adani. The US has caught hold of this financial structure and filed a case against Adani. This case is not against Adani but against the BJP. That's why Narendra Modi is doing what the US is saying. Narendra Modi is being blackmailed. He said that the Constitution is the power that has given all citizens the opportunity to progress, the right to equality, and the right to dignity. We will protect it at all costs. Narendra Modi is 'psychologically' finished.
Congress MP said that the Congress party does not want to become rich. This has been the design of the Congress party since the time of Gandhi. The day we become a rich party, we will become like the BJP. We realized this during the Lok Sabha elections when all our accounts were frozen, but it didn't make a difference to us. Because this is a party of ideology, which no one can stop. Rahul Gandhi said that Narendra Modi has compromised the country's energy security because now the US is deciding from where we should get oil. When I mentioned Epstein's name in Parliament, the Speaker stopped me from speaking. Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal's name is in the Epstein file, and she was a friend of Epstein.
Rahul Gandhi said that George Soros has invested in the company of Harsimrat Kaur Badal's daughter. As soon as I raised this issue in Parliament, the Speaker stopped me from speaking again. Rahul Gandhi said about the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), "If you look at the organizational list of the RSS, you will not find any Dalit, tribal, or backward class person as a propagator or in high organizational positions." Earlier, people from all walks of life were accepted in the management of institutions like government hospitals and universities, but now it is not possible for such people to be included in their propagators and universities. This means that 85% of the country's population is being told that if you scrutinize the country's institutions, you will find that 85% of the people do not have a stake in them. Hospitals, judiciary, bureaucracy, and education system, but if you look at the MNREGA list, you will find that 85% of the country's population is like this, although the Constitution promises equal rights for all.
