Patna: (ABN) The political tussle between Innt Singh and Neeraj Kumar within JDU ahead of the Legislative Council elections has become a major challenge for the party. JDU MLA Innt Singh, a member of the party, is openly campaigning against his own party candidate Neeraj Kumar while supporting candidate Anuj Singh of Jan Suraj. According to a report by India Live, this issue has heightened the concern of the party leadership. JDU State President Amish Kushwaha stated in clear terms that it is not right for MLA Innt Singh to stand against the party’s own candidate Neeraj Kumar. However, he added that the entire matter is under the purview of the party’s top leadership and a decision will soon be made. His statement came at a time when Innt Singh has already declared his intention to defeat Neeraj Kumar and is openly soliciting votes for Jan Suraj candidate Anuj Singh.

On the other hand, JDU has officially nominated Neeraj Kumar as its candidate. Neetish Kumar himself has handed the electoral symbol to Neeraj Kumar, and other party leaders are also openly supporting Neeraj. Minister Nishtant Kumar has appealed to workers to help the NDA’s legitimate candidates succeed and has declared Neeraj Kumar as JDU’s legitimate candidate.

Initially, JDU National Executive President Sanjay Jha said that the responsibility of resolving the dispute between Innt Singh and Neeraj Kumar had been given to Central Minister Lallan Singh. He said that both leaders belong to the Lallan Singh region, so they were authorized to talk to both sides to solve the problem. But now Lallan Singh himself has said that he does not get involved in anyone’s quarrel. According to him, if both parties are ready to talk, he can try to mediate. After this statement, the issue became even more complicated.

Innt Singh accuses Neeraj Kumar of opposing him and conspiring against him during the assembly elections. On that basis, he is campaigning to defeat Neeraj in the current Legislative Council elections. On the other hand, Neeraj Kumar says that if Innt Singh has evidence of the accusations, he will go to court. The war of words between the two leaders has now reached the electoral campaign stage.

Innt Singh’s open opposition and Neeraj Kumar’s campaign as the party candidate have put JDU in a difficult situation. On one hand, the party must demonstrate organizational strength in favor of its candidate; on the other hand, it must also manage the disagreement with Innt Singh.

Now the focus is on JDU’s top leadership to see whether a reconciliation path will emerge between Innt Singh and Neeraj Kumar, or whether the party leadership will take an organizational decision against Innt Singh. According to India Live, the party state president has clarified that the matter is under the top leadership’s knowledge and a decision is expected soon.
