Patna, 3 October (ABN): Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary inspected the under‑construction Incor Biochem Private Limited ethanol plant in the Chakai block of Jhumoi district on Saturday.
Officials said that production at the plant will commence by March 2027. In the review meeting it was stated that the plant, to be established on 105 acres, will produce 1,000,000 liters of ethanol daily. Its daily production capacity will be 1,000 kiloliters.
The plant will also have a self‑sufficient facility to generate 20 megawatts of electricity, while attention will be given to water and environmental protection through a zero liquid discharge (ZLD) system.
The plant will require approximately 30,000 quintals of grain daily, which is expected to provide local farmers with a steady market to sell their produce.
