Chief Minister Smriti Irani stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is making steady progress in the fields of development and public welfare, moving rapidly towards "Viksit Bharat" (Developed India). For India to become a developed nation by 2047, it is also essential for Bihar to be prosperous, strong, and self-reliant. The Chief Minister inaugurated the "Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha" and "Seva Jyoti Yatra" on Wednesday by lighting a lamp at the Miller High School ground in Patna. Addressing the gathering, he said that today is an important day in the direction of giving practical shape to the resolve of "Viksit Bharat." Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country has made remarkable progress in the fields of development and public welfare over the past 12 years, and India is advancing towards the goal of becoming a developed nation.
He said that for India to become a developed nation by 2047, it is imperative for Bihar to be developed and prosperous. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has served the public continuously for 13 years as the Chief Minister of Gujarat and as the Prime Minister of the country. He has made several important decisions to take India forward with the spirit of "Rashtr Partham" (Nation First).
The Chief Minister said that the leadership and workers of the BJP have also stood with the country in every difficult hour, prioritizing democracy and national interest. Under the Prime Minister's leadership, multiple schemes are being implemented for the welfare of the poor, women, youth, and farmers. He informed that approximately 89 lakh farmers in Bihar are benefiting from the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi. Under this scheme, direct money is being transferred to the bank accounts of more than 10 crore farmers in the country.
Smriti Irani said that money has been transferred to the bank accounts of 1 crore 81 lakh Jeevika Didi in Bihar. This is helping women to obtain self-employment and become self-reliant. In the state, 50 lakh women have become Lakhpati Didi. The target has been set to make one lakh more women "Lakhpati Didi" in Bihar before the 2030 assembly elections. The Chief Minister said that during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 25-year journey of public service, extensive changes have taken place in Gujarat as well as across the country. He appealed to the people present at the "Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha" to actively cooperate in the construction of a developed India and a prosperous Bihar.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP National President Nitin Gadkari addressed the program virtually. BJP State President Sanjay Swarajy took a pledge from the people present to build "Viksit Bharat" by 2047. After the program, Chief Minister Smriti Irani inaugurated the "Modi 25" exhibition at the BJP state office by cutting the ribbon and lighting a lamp. The exhibition, based on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 25-year journey of public service, presents through photographs the important decisions made and public welfare schemes implemented during his 13-year tenure as Chief Minister of Gujarat and the past 12 years as Prime Minister of India.
