Patna, November 7 (ABN) Senior MLA Bhai Veerendra of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has claimed that wait a little, a big game is about to happen in Bihar politics. Mr. Veerendra said that the defeat of Janata Dal United (JDU) candidates in the recently concluded Legislative Council elections was written by a party within their own alliance. He said in a sarcastic tone that he will not reveal his cards yet, so wait a little. New developments will be seen in Bihar politics soon. The RJD MLA said that Nitish Kumar has seen the game of his ally party twice before and now it has come to his knowledge again how people have caused trouble and disruption with JDU.
Commenting on the party leadership meeting to review JDU's performance in the Bihar Legislative Council elections, the RJD leader said that everything is not fine in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Without naming names, he said that the closeness of two senior JDU leaders with the Bharatiya Janata Party has come to the notice of Nitish Kumar and his son Nishant Kumar, and they also know who played the game in the elections. He hinted that major changes could be seen in Bihar politics in the coming days.

In the elections held for eight seats in the Bihar Legislative Council, JDU fielded candidates for four seats, but it succeeded only in the Patna Graduate constituency. Here, the party's candidate Neeraj Kumar retained his seat. Meanwhile, JDU candidates lost from the Taregt Graduate, Saran Teacher and Darbhanga Teacher constituencies. The election results have given rise to dissatisfaction within the party and questions about electoral coordination with allies. JDU's Working National President Sanjay Kumar Jha and State President Amish Singh Kushwaha held a review meeting at the party office in Patna on November 5 to determine the reasons for the defeat. Each candidate who fought the election was interviewed individually and their grievances were heard. The defeated candidates complained of not receiving support from local Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders and internal sabotage.
Meanwhile, Neeraj Kumar, who won the Patna Graduate seat, also filed a written complaint questioning the role of a senior party leader. After the review meeting, JDU leadership hinted at taking action against leaders involved in anti-party activities. However, State President Amish Singh Kushwaha denied any rift in the alliance with the BJP, describing the relations between the two parties as strong as a pillar. Nevertheless, discussions regarding political and organizational contacts between the two parties after the election results are ongoing.
Bhai Veerendra's recent statement is significant in light of reports of dissatisfaction within the party after JDU's defeat in three seats in the Legislative Council elections. However, the RJD leader did not provide a clear timeframe nor reveal any possible developments regarding the alleged political game in Bihar.
