Rafael Nadal's return in Australian Open's Night of Legends

Retired Spanish tennis legend Rafael Nadal will return to the court at the Australian Open's special event, Night of Legends, on February 1. The event will take place on the same day as the 2026 tournament's men's singles final. Nadal will be seen playing at Melbourne Park for the first time after his retirement. Former world number one Ashleigh Barty and Australian wheelchair tennis icon Dylan Alcott will also participate in the event.

The announcement comes a few days after Nadal's long-time rival Roger Federer's recent exhibition, which was held at the Rod Laver Arena. According to organizers, the Night of Legends will include interactive activities for fans, live music, and stage conversations with legends, as well as opportunities to win prizes and final tickets.
