Second T20 match today, India to face South Africa

After winning the first match in Cuttack, the Indian cricket team will take to the field in New Chandigarh on Thursday, aiming to double their lead and level the series by beating South Africa.
In view of the 101-run victory in the first match, there is little chance of any change in the Indian team's playing eleven. However, top-order batters, particularly Shubhman Gill and Surya Kumar Yadav, will look to find form. The bowling department will again expect better performances from Arshdeep Singh, Varun Chakravarthy, Hardik Pandya, and Jasprit Bumrah.
South Africa's batters were disappointing in the first T20 International, and they would want to make a comeback in the second match with a better show. If South Africa is to win this match, experienced batters like Quinton de Kock and Aiden Markram will have to score big.
Considering the situation, India might make changes to their eleven. If the pitch remains dry, India might include Kuldeep Yadav in place of Arshdeep Singh, and if they decide to add depth to their batting, Harshit Rana could get a place in the team.
The impact of dew might not be significant in New Chandigarh. In the IPL, the team batting first has won six matches here, while five have been won by the team batting second. Scores of over 200 have been successfully defended on this ground, and even a score of 111 has been defended. Fast bowlers tend to dominate on this pitch.
The second match of the five-T20I series between India and South Africa will be played in Mohali. This will be the first time an international T20 match will be played at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh. So far, 11 IPL matches have been played here, with six won by the team batting first and five by the team batting second. The team that won the toss has won the match seven times, while the team that lost the toss has won four times.
India's possible eleven: Abhishek Sharma, Shubhman Gill, Surya Kumar Yadav (captain), Tilak Varma, Jitesh Sharma (wicketkeeper), Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Shivam Dube, Arshdeep Singh, Varun Chakravarthy, and Jasprit Bumrah.
South Africa's possible eleven: Quinton de Kock (wicketkeeper), Aiden Markram (captain), Tristan Stubbs, Dewald Brevis, David Miller, Donovan Ferreira, Marco Jansen, Lungi Ngidi/Khaya Zondo/George Linde, Keshav Maharaj, Lungi Ngidi, and Anrich Nortje.
