Awaze Bihar3 min read

Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has termed the trade agreement with the US as entirely in the interest of the country's farmers, accusing Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of trying to mislead the farmers about the agreement and make them fight among themselves. Mr. Goyal said that the agreement with the US would benefit the country's farmers, increase exports and increase demand for agricultural products, which would improve prices and make farmers prosperous. He assured the farmers about the agreement and said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi always sympathizes with the farmers and the interests of the farmers are kept at the top in this agreement. Mr. Goyal said in a statement issued early today, Rahul Gandhiji has a habit of telling lies. They have no concern for Mother India or the welfare of our farmers and youth. He has broken all records of lies and baseless allegations in his video released yesterday.
Mr. Gandhi had said on social media platform X on Thursday that the agreement signed with the US is not in favor of the farmers of the country, so he will fight against it together with the farmers. Mr. Goyal in his statement said, 'He (Mr. Gandhi) is misleading our farmers with his nonsense and trying to provoke our donors. They have never cared for our motherland nor can we expect them to work for a strong and prosperous future of India. The Commerce Minister said that Prime Minister Modi always sympathizes with our farmer brothers and sisters. He has always given priority to the interest of the farmers and all his decisions are to ensure the prosperity of the farmers. The Commerce and Industry Minister said that Narendra Modi's government has implemented many schemes which have changed the lives of crores of farmers. He said, "The interests of the country's farmers have been put at the top of the trade agreement with the US and they have been fully protected. The commerce minister added in his statement that the agreement has fully protected the market of all major agricultural commodities like wheat, rice, millet, soybean meal, maize, genetically modified food products, spices and potatoes in India. Notably, the cultivation and trade of genetically modified food crops is not allowed in India. He said that the government has fully protected the interests of farmers who grow important fruits including apples in this agreement. India's doors have not been opened for dairy or poultry products either. "The reality is that many of our products, including basmati rice, fruits, spices, tea and marine products, will find new markets, increase exports and increase farmers' incomes," Mr. Goyal said. Terming the trade deal as beneficial for the country's farmers, youth and every Indian, he said, "I don't think Rahul Gandhi ever cared about the benefits of our farmers or he will ever understand what is best for our donors. The Commerce Minister addressed Rahul Gandhi and said that no matter how much he may lie and try to mislead our farmers or defame the country, India under the leadership of Narendra Modi is a dignified, prosperous, powerful, self-sufficient and developed country. Will be.
