Patna (ABN): RJD-backed candidate Deepak Kumar, known as Deepak Patel, filed his nomination papers at the Patna Commissioner’s office on Tuesday for the Patna Graduate constituency in the Bihar Legislative Council elections. After filing his nomination, he visited the Patel Seva Sangh office, where he garlanded the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and paid his respects.
Deepak Patel was given a grand reception at the nomination meeting held at Patel Seva Sangh. A large number of supporters were present at the meeting, which was led by Ranjit Patel and Rajesh Ranjan. Addressing the gathering, Deepak Patel stated that if elected, his top priorities would be to establish a Graduate Bhavan in every block of the Patna Graduate constituency and a Graduate Employment Center in every district. He said that providing timely employment to youth, ensuring an unemployment allowance for the unemployed, and resolving the issue of three-year degree courses extending to four years in universities are among his key priorities.
Deepak Patel noted that the biggest expectation of graduate youth in the state is employment and effective government schemes for them. He said that voters in Patna, Nalanda, and Nawada are like God to him and that he is receiving public support everywhere. Reacting to a statement by an NDA candidate that electricity lines would be cut off, Deepak Patel said that such a statement is a result of the current situation and electoral frustration. He emphasized that all voters should be treated equally by the elected representative, regardless of whether they voted for him or not.
