Last evening, a global mushaira was organized by Bazm-e-Urdu Qatar at the 'Lamaison Hotel' (Bin Mahmoud) in Doha, which set new records for its success and quality. The evening, with its beauty, discipline, and the enthusiasm of the audience, has become a memorable chapter in the history of Urdu.
Doha, Qatar: Bazm-e-Urdu Qatar has once again maintained its glorious tradition by placing a shining star on Doha's literary horizon, the brilliance of which will be felt for a long time. Hussein Salem participated as a guest of honor; although Urdu is not his language, he appreciated every poem and listened to the mushaira until the end. Dr. Nadeem Jilani Danish (Director of Sadara Hospital) performed the duties of anchoring, and his refined narration and witty phrases infused life into the gathering.
In this mushaira, 15 esteemed poets from India, Pakistan, Canada, and Qatar participated, enriching the audience with their intellectual assets. Humorous poet Ashfaq Deshmukh commenced the event with his lively narration, making the atmosphere pleasant.

All these poets filled the mushaira with joy and pleasure with their diverse poetry.
The success of the mushaira was largely due to the key role played by two important pillars of Bazm-e-Urdu Qatar, Ahmed Ashfaq (General Secretary) and Raquim Aazmi (Joint Secretary). Just as the batting order is changed in cricket according to the situation, these two gentlemen changed the order of the poets, sensing the mood of the audience and the timing, which kept the graph of the gathering consistently high.
When the last four or five poets were left, the scene in the hall was breathtaking. The audience was standing up from their seats, applauding, and every poem was being welcomed with thunderous applause.
Behind this successful program was a well-organized team, led by Ahmed Ashfaq and Raquim Aazmi, which included Ali Ashhad Aazmi (Treasurer), Maqsood Anwar Maqsood (Vice President), Wasif Gilani (Publication Department), Muhammad Imran (Social Media), Ajmal Basheemi, Areeb Ashfaq, Vandana Raj, Mansoor Aazmi, Tahir Jameel, Mahfuz Hasan, Anmol Ittefaq, Mazum Nadvi, Ajmal Qiyami, Zaid Basheemi, Athar Aazmi, and Yawar Hussain, who performed their duties excellently.
The event began with the recitation of the Quran by Mazum Nadvi, followed by Athar Aazmi's introduction to Bazm-e-Urdu Qatar. Immediately after, the poets and guests were honored with momentos and gifts. At the conclusion, Maqsood Anwar Maqsood thanked all the guests and the audience, reaffirming Bazm-e-Urdu Qatar's tradition of organizing high-quality mushairas in the future. The gathering ended with a grand dinner, the aroma of which the audience took with them as they departed.
