Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the illegal attacks on Iran have increased security risks in the region. According to the Turkish Ministry of Information, on Friday, during his meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Erdogan said that Turkey will continue and intensify its efforts to maintain a ceasefire and ensure lasting peace. He also said that the ongoing conflict in the region has made it clear that a new and strong regional security structure is needed on a new basis, and added that Turkey will continue to discuss this issue comprehensively with the countries of the region. The three leaders also discussed possible joint actions to achieve lasting and lasting peace throughout the region. President Erdogan and Shehbaz Sharif discussed bilateral relations and the ongoing ceasefire talks with Iran, and highlighted the growing diplomatic harmony. Erdogan said that Turkey will expand its cooperation with Pakistan in key areas, including energy, trade, and defense. He appreciated Pakistan's role in ensuring a ceasefire and said that both sides will work to move it towards a broader peace agreement. Erdogan emphasized the need to strengthen the Gaza ceasefire, called for a new regional security structure, and warned that efforts to achieve a two-state solution in Palestine should continue in an unstable environment. The president also met with his Syrian counterpart, Ahmed Sharif, during the forum, a notable meeting amid ongoing regional changes. Praising Syria, Erdogan said that Damascus is taking concrete steps to strengthen its unity and reconstruction, as well as development. He emphasized that Turkey stands with Syria during this process. Erdogan called for Syria to stay away from regional conflicts and said that increased cooperation between Ankara and Damascus in all areas, including defense, security, trade, energy, and transportation, will be crucial for Syria's recovery efforts. Erdogan emphasized the need to complete the annexation process in northeastern Syria without interruption and said that such a result will be beneficial for the entire region. The meeting was attended by high-level Turkish officials, including Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and intelligence chief Ibrahim Kalin.
