Tehran: Iran's largest missile attack since the start of the war, 38 missiles fired at Israel. The death toll from Iran's missile attack near Beit Shemesh, close to occupied Jerusalem, has risen to 9, with 23 injured and 20 people still missing under the rubble. The Israeli army says Home Front Command's rescue and search forces are currently working at the missile impact site in Beit Shemesh. The Hebrew website Walla News quoted the police chief of Beit Shemesh as saying that four buildings in the city were destroyed as a result of the missile attack, and one person is still out of contact. The mayor of Beit Shemesh said an Iranian missile directly hit a public shelter, resulting in loss of life. Israeli media reported that several people were injured, some of them in critical condition, while Channel 12 said sirens did not sound in Beit Shemesh. Iran fired its largest missile barrage since the start of the war, with 38 missiles fired at Israel. Meanwhile, the Israeli ambulance service said four people were killed and about 16 injured when a missile directly hit near a place of worship in the city. According to the Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, large forces from the Home Front Command have been called to the scene, who are working to extract people trapped under the rubble.
