Jamiat Ulema distributed educational scholarships among 100 deserving students

Under the patronage of Jamiat Ulama Maharashtra and organized by Jamiat Ulama Kausa Mumbra, a grand and dignified ceremony of "Distribution of Educational Scholarships for the year 2026-2027" was held at Al-Hamd Marriage Hall, Shabli Nagar. In this purposeful ceremony, educational scholarships were distributed among approximately 100 deserving and talented students from Mumbra and Kausa, so that no financial obstacle hinders their bright educational journey. The ceremony was attended by prominent scholars and dignitaries of the country and community.

The formal inauguration of the ceremony took place with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Jamaluddin Sahib (Mohatmim Madrasa Taqwa, Mumbra Kausa). This was followed by Hafiz Kamal Ansari, who presented a gift of Naat-e-Rasool (peace be upon him) in his mesmerizing and melodious voice, creating a spiritual atmosphere in the gathering. On this occasion, the inaugural address and welcome speech were delivered by Maulana Abdul Wahab Qasmi Sahib, President of Jamiat Ulama Kausa Mumbra. He presented a vivid and detailed picture of the great, historic, and multifaceted services of Jamiat Ulama Hind before the gathering.

Maulana Qasmi, while highlighting the golden achievements of Jamiat Ulama, clarified that the scope of this prestigious organization is not limited to just one field. He stated that whether it is relief work during natural disasters like earthquakes, floods, or other calamities, without any discrimination of religion or community, or providing support to the oppressed during communal riots, or providing scholarships to deserving students in the field of education, or establishing religious schools for the protection of faith of the new generation across the country, Jamiat Ulama is actively working on every front. Additionally, providing strong legal assistance in courts against baseless allegations on innocent people and conducting welfare activities on purely humanitarian grounds is the hallmark of Jamiat Ulama.

The ceremony was attended by prominent guest Maulana Halimullah Qasmi Sahib, President of Jamiat Ulama Maharashtra and Vice Amir-e-Shariat of Maharashtra, who delivered a thought-provoking keynote address. He stated that Jamiat Ulama has always provided valuable services for the security, survival, and development of the country, and its stance has always been based on love, affection, and brotherhood. Maulana Qasmi categorically stated that Jamiat Ulama has always opposed those who spread hatred, which poisons the atmosphere of the country and creates communal divisions, whether such venomous statements are made by Muslims themselves.

Maulana Halimullah Qasmi further stated that today, Jamiat Ulama has become a strong voice for the oppressed, backward classes, and helpless individuals, and is in a position to speak eye-to-eye with those in power across the country. This is the result of the countless sacrifices made by Jamiat Ulama in its glorious past and present. He quoted the statements of Maulana Syed Arshad Madani, National President of Jamiat Ulama Hind, who always emphasizes that this country can only survive on the basis of love and mutual tolerance. Hatred, from any side, is a deadly poison for this country, and elements that sow the seeds of discord are the country's sworn enemies. Jamiat Ulama has won the unwavering trust of the people through its selfless and tireless efforts in every field.

During the program, Maulana Manzoor Hasan Salfi, President of Jamiat Ahle Hadith Mumbai, CP YSP Chairman Al-Huda Public School, Maulana Musab Nadvi, President of Samajwadi Party (Mumbra Kausa), Shabir Khan, also expressed their valuable thoughts. These dignitaries paid rich tributes to the multifaceted national, social, and educational efforts of Jamiat Ulama Hind and delivered insightful speeches on the importance and benefits of education. During the ceremony, scholarship checks were distributed among students by the esteemed guests, which brought satisfaction and gratitude to the faces of the deserving students and their guardians.

The grand gathering was attended by several prominent personalities, scholars, and dignitaries from the city and outside, including Maulana Ashfaq Ahmed Qasmi (Treasurer, Jamiat Ulama Maharashtra), Mufti Hafizullah Qasmi (Nazim Talimat Madrasa Sarajul Uloom Bhendi and Nazim Tanzeem Jamiat Ulama Maharashtra), Maulana Zakir Hussain Sabale, Maulana Aminul Islam Qasmi, Syed Suhail Sahil, Hafiz Muhammad Luqman, Khurshid Ahmed Choudhary, Maulana Musab Mazahiri (President, Tanzeem Ulama o Aima Kausa Mumbra), Qari Mukhtar (Vice President, Tanzeem Ulama o Aima Kausa Mumbra), Maulana Saifullah (President, Jamiat Ulama Kausa Mumbra), Hafiz Ayub (Patron, Jamiat Ulama Kausa Mumbra), and Maulana Manzoor Hasan Salfi. Apart from them, a large number of local scholars, members of the organizing committee, students, their guardians, and intellectuals from the city participated in the program.
