Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary today launched the "Vidyarthi Sahyog Shivar" under "Sat Nashche 3" under "Sab Ka Saman, Zindagi Asana" at Bihar College of Engineering, Biddupur. The objective of this initiative is to ensure effective and timely resolution of problems, complaints and suggestions of students studying in educational institutions of Bihar.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister inspected the information assistance counter set up in the faculty room of the administrative and academic building of the college and sought information from the students about the facilities provided.
The Chief Minister spoke to the students and heard their problems, complaints and suggestions. He said that all the problems faced by the students will be solved. He directed the officers to ensure internet connectivity and uninterrupted power supply in Government Engineering College Vaishali so that students do not face any difficulty in their studies. Till permanent arrangement of hostels for all students, temporary alternative arrangements should be ensured. He said that Bihar is a unique state where engineering education is given for only 10 rupees. The state government is making every possible effort to provide maximum facilities to students in engineering colleges. The needs of the students will be catered for so that they do not face any difficulties in their studies. On the request of the students, the Chief Minister directed the officers to select such a place for opening the Wazir Jan Oshadhi Kendra near the Engineering College campus that could be utilized by both students and outsiders. He said that it will be ensured that Jan Oshadhi Kendras are opened in all engineering colleges, polytechnic institutes and Ambedkar Hostel in Bihar.
The Chief Minister said that solving the problems of students is the priority of the government. "Through the Vidyarthi Support Chevre, students will get an opportunity to present their problems directly to the authorities concerned. It is the government's endeavor that students do not have to make unnecessary rounds of offices for redressal of their grievances and resolve their issues within a stipulated time frame." The Chief Minister directed the officers to ensure final redressal of incoming complaints within 30 days and to effectively monitor redressal of complaints. Students' suggestions are important to the government and will also facilitate policy making. He said that new and useful inventions will be linked to start-ups in various student projects. Students will be encouraged to generate new ideas and innovate.
The Chief Minister said that on the fourth Tuesday of every month, "Vidyarthi Sahyog Shivar" will be organized in educational institutions. Complaints and suggestions regarding educational arrangements, examinations, hostels, drinking water, canteens, canteens, and other issues and facilities related to students will be redressed in the camps. For the convenience of students, provision has been made to lodge complaints and suggestions online through "Vidyarthi Sahyog Portal". This facility will also be available through helpline number 1100. Students will also be able to get information about the status of their complaints online.
The Chief Minister inspected the ground floor of the administrative and academic building of Government Engineering College Vaishali. During this he inspected the stalls set up by the Industries Department, Vaishali and the District Registration-cum-Consultation Centre, Vaishali. After that, he went to the third floor of the building and inspected the classroom, music room, seminar hall, start-up cell, entrepreneurship cell and various laboratories and talked to the students.
During the inspection, the Chief Minister saluted the Goddess Saraswati by wearing the Pargal.
