Patna, September 6: In a major administrative reshuffle, the police wing of the Bihar government's home department has transferred 37 officers of the Bihar Police Service with immediate effect. In this regard, a notification has been issued by First Secretary Ratnish Kumar. Under the exchange, Ara Sadar, Begusarai Sadar, Dawood Nagar, Siwan Sadar, Madhepura, Triviniganj, Mehwa, Wazirganj, Simri Bakhtiarpur, Saharsa Sadar, Bodh Gaya, Uday Kishoreganj, Bihar Sharif Sadar, Dhamdaha, Kharagpur, Phalwari Sharif, Betiya Sadar, Bhagalpur Nagar, Muzaffarpur Nagar, SDPO-level officers of Chhapra Sadar, Gopalganj Sadar, Virpur, Areraj and Mussoodhi have been given new responsibilities. Rajkumar Sah has been appointed as SP of Vigilance Investigation Bureau, Anand Kumar Pandey and Pravendra Bharti as Additional SP of Economic Offenses Unit (EOU). Gauri Kumari has been made DSP, EOU while Vinod Kumar and Suresh Prasad Singh have been made DSPs in Vigilance and Investigation Bureau. In Special Branch, Ajay Kumar Singh and Sanjay Kumar Jha have been made Additional SPs and in Special Security Group (SSG) Sunil Kumar Pandey has been made DSP. Mamata Prasad, Anurag Kumar, Rajkumar-2, Ravi Kumar and Kanhaiya Singh have been given the charge of DSP in Special Branch. Mukesh Kumar Thakur, Avinash Kumar, Deepak Kumar and Rajneesh Kant Priyadarshi have been appointed as DSP Cyber Crime in different districts. For posting will immediately lend their support to Bihar Police Headquarters, Patna.
