Patna, September 29: (ABN) Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has said that if the children of the society are strong, the state and the country will also be strong. The government aims to keep both mother and child healthy, provide quality primary education and proper nutrition to children. To provide better facilities to the children in the Anganbari centers, the suggestions of the beneficiaries and local people are being given importance and all possible steps will be taken for the necessary reforms. On this occasion, he interacted with the children and Sevika of the Anganwadi Center and got information about the facilities available there and ongoing activities. While talking to the children, the Chief Minister inquired about their studies and other activities. Children introduced themselves along with presenting poems. The Chief Minister encouraged the children and distributed sweets among them. He also inspected the various stalls set up by the Department of Social Welfare and Directorate of Integrated Child Development Services. During the program, the Chief Minister distributed token checks to the beneficiaries of the Chief Minister Kanya Athan Plan and Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana. He performed the ceremony of giving birth to the women and fed grain to the children for the first time. Anganbari sevikas, sahaikas and asha didis were felicitated with certificates, while nutritional kits were also distributed among the beneficiaries. On this occasion, a booklet named "Saposhit Bachpan Ki Rasoi" was also released. During the "Angan Ka Milan" programme, the beneficiaries of various schemes while talking to the Chief Minister said that the financial assistance received under the government schemes is being used to fulfill the needs related to nutrition, food and health. He said that immunization, regular monitoring of children's weight and height and nutritional facilities are also being provided in Anganbari centers. A beneficiary also suggested to improve the facilities of toys for children in Anganbari centers. The Chief Minister said that "the government has been formed with the blessings of all your sisters and the government is trying to provide all possible help by reaching your door." Go, the beneficiaries and local people should convey their suggestions to the government in this regard. The government will take all possible steps for necessary reforms based on these suggestions. He said that the government is continuously working to provide better facilities to mothers and children before and after childbirth. Anganbari centers which do not have their own building, efforts will also be made to construct a building. The Chief Minister said that about one lakh 15 thousand Anganbari Sevikas and Sahaikas are engaged in the service of children and families in the state. He said that in all the Anganwadi centers, attention is being paid to provide nutritious food, fruits and milk to the children regularly. It is important to connect the children to the Anganwadi Centers permanently and provide them with proper nutrition. He appealed to the Anganwadi Centers to try to connect all the small children of the village with the centers. He said that the government is trying to ensure that all the eligible beneficiaries benefit from the welfare schemes.
