Several important steps are taken to improve the educational quality of students in aided madrasas
Along with modern education, skill development will also be promoted in Madrasahs of the state. In this regard, the government is taking continuous steps to develop madrasa education according to modern requirements and provide students with quality education and employable skills. According to the information received from the Minority Welfare Department, under the Bihar State Madrasa Strengthening Scheme, work is being done to improve education, increase basic facilities and strengthen infrastructure in recognized aided Madrasas. Under the scheme, which was launched in the financial year 2018-19, an administrative sanction of around Rs.175.5 crore has been given for construction work in 68 madrasas till the current financial year 2026-27. Out of these 18 Madrasahs, the construction work has been completed while the construction work is in progress in the remaining 50. Online and smart classes are being organized under the project "Empowering Madrasa Education through Virtual Teaching and Science Learning" to improve the educational level of students in madrasas. Organized jointly by Maulana Mazharul Haq Arabic and Persian University and Bihar State Madrasa Education Board in Patna, these classes provide online education in various subjects including Science, Social Science, Mathematics and Hindi. Through these smart classes, students are also provided with access to subject matter experts and digital learning materials. Along with the education department, there is a special emphasis on providing employment oriented training to the students. Five technical courses are being run at 10 centers to train students studying at the level of scholars and scholars in state-approved madrasas jointly organized by the Department of Minority Welfare and Maulana Mazharul Haq Arabic and Persian University. These include nine madrasas and Maulana Mazharul Haq Arabic and Persian University. These centers run advanced courses in translation and interpretation in Arabic and English, a diploma course in Persian, a certificate course in computer basics, a certificate course in domestic electrical wiring, and a certificate course in telecom and mobile technology. An administrative sanction of Rs. 5 crore 97 lakh has been given by the department for these training courses.
