Government committed to promote industrial investment in Bihar: Shreesi Singh

PATNA/BENGALURU (ABN) Under the guidance of Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary and the leadership of Industries Minister Shreesi Singh, "Bihar Industry B2G Meet 2026" was organized in Bengaluru to promote industrial investment in Bihar and to establish direct investment contacts with industrialists across the country. The event was organized by the Department of Industries, Government of Bihar. In the meeting, investors were informed about Bihar's investment potential, industrial infrastructure, investment-friendly policies, available industrial land and facilities being developed in various sectors. Investment opportunities in e-commerce, pharmaceutical, energy, technology, engineering, manufacturing and other emerging sectors were discussed with the investors. Investors presented their suggestions, expectations and requirements to the department regarding the possibilities of setting up and expanding industries in Bihar. On this occasion, Industries Minister Shreesi Singh said that the Bihar government is committed to making the state an attractive, competitive and investment-friendly industrial destination. The government is continuously working to provide policy support, better industrial infrastructure and necessary facilities according to the needs and suggestions of the investors. He said that Bihar offers vast investment opportunities in various sectors, and the state government is trying to convert these opportunities into investments through continuous dialogue with the country's leading industrial groups and investors. The state is providing necessary support to investors through adequate industrial land, better connectivity, developed industrial zones and sector-specific policies. He urged the investors to take advantage of the opportunities available in Bihar and consider expanding their industrial units in the state. During the program information was also provided about industrial land available in BIADA, facilities available in industrial areas and plug and play facilities for investors. Investors were informed about the investment friendly policies of Bihar and the opportunities available in various sectors.
