Several directives including coordinating 102 and 108 ambulance services, ensuring real-time availability of hospital beds With the aim of making health services more efficient, accessible and technology-based, a review meeting was held today in the auditorium of State Health Committee, Bihar, Patna under the chairmanship of Health Minister Mr. Nishant. Patient referral system, smart ambulance, telemedicine, and artificial intelligence (AI) were discussed in detail in the meeting to enhance the quality, accessibility and efficiency of health services. The Health Minister directed integration of patient referral system with software and integration of 102 and 108 ambulance services. In case of emergency referrals, a system will be developed to capture the patient's vitals in the ambulance itself and provide it to the control center through a dashboard. Through the emergency network, 102 and 108 services will be connected to hospitals, providing real-time information on hospital bed availability on a dashboard. A suitable hospital can be selected based on the patient's condition and bed availability.
