Patna, 25 July: (ABN) Chief Minister Smarat Choudhary inaugurated the new building of the 400-bed Orthopedic Super Specialty Hospital at the Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan (LNJP) Hospital campus in Rajvanshi Nagar today. After the inauguration, the Chief Minister inspected the various departments, modern medical equipment, and available health facilities of the hospital in detail. He also spoke to the admitted patients to know about the medical services and treatment being received. This super specialty hospital has all modern facilities, including a world-class modular operating theater, latest ICU, Sports Injury Center, modern Radiology Department, modern Physiotherapy Unit, Trauma and Emergency Services, OPD, Plaster Room, Minor OT, MRI, Therapy Unit Room, and Occupational Therapy Unit.
The Chief Minister said that the state government's objective is to provide world-class and standard medical services to the people of Bihar within their own state. With the start of this modern hospital, patients will no longer have to rely on other states for the treatment of serious orthopedic diseases. He said that the inauguration of this super specialty hospital at LNJP Hospital is an important step towards this commitment, where comprehensive services from treatment to recovery will be available under one roof, providing better, immediate, and comprehensive medical facilities to patients.
The program was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Health Minister Mr. Nishant, MP Mr. Ravi Shankar Prasad, MLA Mr. Sanjeev Chaurasia, MLC Mr. Nawal Kishore Yadav, Chief Minister's Principal Secretary Mr. Deepak Kumar, Chief Secretary Mr. Pritya Amrit, Development Commissioner Mr. Mahir Kumar Singh, Chief Minister's Secretary Mr. Lokes Kumar Singh, and other related officers, including senior health department officials and other officers. Doctors associated with Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan Hospital were also present at the program.
