Iran rains cluster missiles on Israel, drone attacks on US bases, 37 troops killed

Awaz E Bihar•2 April 2026 at 02:27 pm•8 views•4 min read

The Middle East conflict has entered an extremely alarming phase. Iran has directly launched cluster missiles at Israel, while there are also reports of large-scale attacks on US military installations in the region. The cluster missiles launched by the Iranian military have shaken several Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv.

As a result of the attacks, there has been severe destruction in Haifa and Bnei Brak, with buildings damaged and car windows shattered on the streets. According to initial reports, at least 7 Israelis have been injured in these attacks, while the entire country is gripped with fear and panic due to the sounding of war sirens.

On the 33rd day of the war, Iran has made an explosive claim that has shocked the international community. According to the spokesperson of the Iranian military, the Revolutionary Guards targeted a secret location in the United Arab Emirates where US military personnel were gathered for an important meeting. It is claimed that 37 US military personnel were killed in the attack.

A drone attack on the US base in the Bahraini capital sparked a fire, while missiles were also launched at the US diplomatic center in Baghdad and the Victoria Airbase. The Saudi Ministry of Defense claims to have shot down four more drones entering its airspace.

Due to fears of further attacks by Iraqi militias within the next 24 to 48 hours, the US Embassy has ordered all its citizens to leave Iraq immediately. Amidst the ongoing tensions in the Middle East, the Lebanese resistance organization Hezbollah has launched a barrage of rockets at northern Israel, spreading fear and panic in the border areas.

According to foreign news agencies and the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), more than 50 rockets have been launched from Lebanon at northern Israel. One rocket fell in the border town of Kiryat Shmona, injuring two people. The attack was carried out as Israelis began their religious ceremony 'Passover', forcing hundreds of people to take shelter in bunkers.

Israeli authorities have tightened security measures on the northern border due to fears of further major attacks by Hezbollah. On the other hand, Iran has strongly reacted to the recent threats made by US President Donald Trump. Colonel Ibrahim Zulfiqari, spokesperson for Iran's Khatam al-Anbia Headquarters, stated that in the event of any attack, the Iranian armed forces will cut off the enemy's feet.

Trump should forget about the Strait of Hormuz; this route will never be opened to enemies. Iran has never bowed its head to any enemy and will not do so now. During Trump's speech, in which he threatened to launch a major attack on Iran and push it back to the Stone Age, Iran was carrying out a large-scale operation against Israel.

According to Iranian media, when US President Donald Trump was addressing the nation from the White House Oval Office, threatening to attack Iran, Iran was simultaneously launching a massive counterattack against Israel. The report states that Iran launched a barrage of attacks against Israel, causing explosions in areas including Tel Aviv and Haifa.

The attacks were carried out while a meeting of senior Israeli officials was underway in a building. The building in Ramat Gan was damaged by a missile strike, and several people were injured. A pipeline burst in the eastern part of Tel Aviv due to a missile strike, causing damage to buildings and vehicles, while fear and panic spread across various Israeli cities due to the Iranian missile attacks.

US President Donald Trump's recent statements have sparked new unrest in the Middle East, prompting a strong response from Iranian military and parliamentary leaders, who have issued a severe warning to Washington. Colonel Ibrahim Zulfiqari, spokesperson for Iran's Khatam al-Anbia Headquarters, rejected US threats, stating that the Iranian nation and armed forces are fully prepared to defend their homeland.

He said, "In the event of any aggression, the attackers' feet will be cut off. History is a witness that Iran has never bowed its head to any enemy." Colonel Zulfiqari described Trump's statements as ridiculous, emphasizing that the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed to Iran's enemies. He advised Trump to stop dreaming about this vital waterway.

Ibrahim Azizi, head of the Iranian parliamentary National Security Commission, also adopted a tough tone, saying that if there is talk of changing maritime laws or the system in the region, Trump's dream of 'regime change' has already been foiled. The Strait of Hormuz will reopen, but it will not be for the United States or its allies.

Analysts believe that the harsh statements by Iranian officials indicate that tensions over control of maritime routes and US intervention in the region have once again reached a boiling point, which could also affect global oil supplies.
