Iran has unleashed a barrage of missiles on Israel on the eighth day of the war, following which Tel Aviv was rocked by explosions. According to details, the ongoing war in the Middle East has intensified. Iran has launched a widespread missile attack on Israel under 'Promise of Truth 4'. After the Iranian attacks, sirens blared in the Israeli capital Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, central and southern Israel, the West Bank, and the Gaza border areas. Arab media reported that several explosions were heard in Tel Aviv in quick succession.
The Israeli military, while confirming the new Iranian missiles, claimed that their defense system was rendering the attacks ineffective, however, there are reports of targets being hit at several locations. On the other hand, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards have released a video of the 24th wave of missile attacks under 'Promise of Truth 4'. Iranian authorities claim that in this wave, military and strategic targets within Tel Aviv were successfully targeted.
Earlier, the international news agency Bloomberg revealed in a sensational report that Iran had destroyed the most critical radar of the US missile defense system at the 'Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan, which cost around $300 million. The White House spokesperson said that it would take 4 to 6 weeks to complete the action against Iran. White House spokesperson Caroline Levitt told the media that there is a large arsenal of weapons available for action against Iran, and President Trump will meet with the Defense Secretary today, while several names are being considered for the Iranian leadership.
Caroline Levitt said that if Russia is sharing intelligence information with Iran, it is not affecting the US military operation, and Iran is being completely destroyed. The US military's Central Command said that it has targeted over 3,000 targets in Iran since February 28 and destroyed 43 Iranian warships. The number of casualties in Iran has now risen to at least 1,332. US President Donald Trump is demanding unconditional surrender from Iran and says that there will be no agreement without it.
On the other hand, the Iranian military has confirmed that the Strait of Hormuz is still open, but it has clearly stated that any US or Israeli ship attempting to pass through the route will be targeted. Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister has warned European countries that if they support the US and Israel in this conflict, they will become 'legitimate targets' for Iran's retaliatory action. Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke with his Iranian counterpart, Masoud Pezeshkian, over the phone, expressed condolences over the casualties in Iran, and received a report on the current situation.
According to US officials, Russia is allegedly providing Iran with intelligence information about US military positions. The Kremlin said that due to this war, there has been a significant increase in demand for Russian energy products. This statement came a day after the US gave India a 30-day exemption to buy Russian oil.
