Patna, May 6 (ABN) Chief Secretary Pritye Amrit said that in matters related to government employees, investigations and dispensing of justice should be based on the best efforts and capabilities of the officer, and it is also necessary for justice to be seen in the case. The Chief Secretary was expressing his views at the inauguration of the departmental activities website at the auditorium of the Chief Investigation Commissioner's Directorate on Wednesday. He congratulated the Directorate for providing training to administrative officers across the state on the application of the Bihar Government Servant (Classification, Control, and Appeal) Rules 2005 in recent days. He said that as a result of the hard work of Director General-cum-Chief Investigation Commissioner Deepak Kumar Singh and his team, more than 50 officers have been trained, which will pave the way for justice in cases registered against government employees.
The Chief Secretary congratulated the Additional Chief Secretary of the General Administration Department, Dr. B Rajendra, and his team for streamlining the record-keeping system. He said that the department's effort will prove to be a milestone for administrative officers and employees in the future.
On this occasion, Director General-cum-Chief Investigation Commissioner Deepak Kumar Singh informed the Chief Secretary that the Directorate has so far trained 3,507 administrative officers to achieve justice. This includes 42 IAS officers at the level of Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, and Secretary, and 95 IAS officers up to the level of Special Secretary in Patna, who have been given disciplinary action training. He further said that trained officers are also being examined.
Mr. Singh said that a group of trainers is being formed to train and test officers in the districts. The Directorate has created a website to assist in this effort. All books related to disciplinary action have been uploaded on this website. He also presented a set of books published by the Directorate to the Chief Secretary. Earlier, Additional Chief Secretary of the General Administration Department, Dr. B Rajendra, presented the welcome address. The event was attended by Development Commissioner Mahir Kumar Singh, Investigating Commissioner of the Home Department, Additional Chief Secretary Arvind Kumar Choudhary, Principal Secretary of the Water Resources Department, Santosh Kumar Mall, Secretary of the Home Department, Purno Kumar, Secretary of the Finance Department, Richa Patal, and other officers of the General Administration Department and Chief Investigation Commissioner Directorate.
