Patna, Aug 18: Kunal Kumar along with thousands of supporters arrived in Patna on the third day of the march from Sriranjan to Patna demanding protection of KSR College and ensuring public interest in the proposed route alignment of Patna-Purnia Expressway. The march led by Kunal Kumar proceeded from Raj Vidhan Sabha Gate to the Chief Minister's residence. The marchers then reached Gate No. 1 through Eco Park Gate No. 2, where the local administration and the Patna administration took a positive and cooperative attitude towards the march. Kunal Kumar and his supporters were detained by the administration for about an hour. The administration said that the delegation led by the local magistrate would be taken to the Raj Bhavan to meet the Supreme Governor. After that, a five-member delegation led by Kunal Kumar was allowed to go to the Raj Bhavan. The delegation met Governor Bihar to raise concerns about the issues of KSR College, students, farmers and people of the affected area as well as the proposed route alignment of Patna-Purnia Expressway. After meeting the governor, Kunal Kumar told the media, "We had a positive interaction with the governor. He assured the Bihar government and the Chief Minister's office of his intervention in the matter, and expected the government to take necessary action within three days." Kunal Kumar said. That the aim of the movement is not to oppose any individual or the government, but to protect the interests of KSR College, students, farmers and common people. He said that if the government does not take a positive decision in accordance with their demands, the movement will be accelerated in a democratic way. Information regarding the next phase of the movement will be brought before the media and public. Kunal Kumar also praised the role of the local administration and Patna administration during the march. Ensuring that the movement goes ahead peacefully, he said that thousands of supporters from different parts of the region came to Patna to support him. This support shows that the issue of KSR College and Fairway Alignment is not just one person's, but belongs to students, farmers and common people.
