Patna, May 11 (ABN) Chief Minister Smarat Choudhary said on Monday that the Naresh Sinha Path (Mandiri Nala Path) four-lane road will be connected to the JP Ganga Path by March 31, 2027. The Chief Minister inaugurated the Naresh Sinha Path (Mandiri Nala Path) today.
Under the Patna Smart City project, a 1289-meter-long four-lane road has been constructed on Mandiri Nala at a cost of Rs 115.08 crore. The road has been built by covering the nala after its repair and renovation. This road will connect the Income Tax intersection to Ashok Raj Path. The project also provides a modern drainage system, better lighting, and easy traffic facilities.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Choudhary, paying tribute to late Naresh Sinha on his birth anniversary, said that he had a personal connection with this area.
He said that earlier, due to the open Mandiri Nala, the area was plagued by disorder and pollution, which caused a lot of problems for the people. Now, with the construction of the four-lane road, the beauty of the area has increased and people will get great convenience in coming and going.
Mr. Choudhary said that the work of connecting this road to JP Ganga Path has been directed to be completed by March 31, 2027. He said that with this project, the entire area will develop from a residential area to a commercial hub, and there will be a greater possibility of big malls and showrooms opening here.
Smrat Choudhary said, "I have freed the police. They have been given clear instructions to respond to anyone who challenges within 48 hours. The government does not care what caste or religion the culprit belongs to. The culprit cannot escape in any case. There is a rule of law in Bihar, and it is the top priority of the government to maintain it."
Smrat Choudhary said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bihar is becoming economically strong rapidly. The government is also working rapidly to promote industry in the state. He said that good governance and rule of law are the most important conditions for the establishment of industry. That's why the government is taking tough action against crimes and criminals.
The Chief Minister said that the area around Mandiri Nala has been suffering from traffic jams for a long time. Now, with the opening of this road, the public will get great relief. He said that this entire area is rapidly transforming from a residential to a commercial hub. He thanked BJP National President Nitan Naveen and his entire team for this.
Smrat Choudhary said, "The government will not stop at just building roads, instead, new cities will be developed on both sides of Patna. On one side, the city of Patliputra will be developed, and on the other side, the city of Harihar Nathpuram will be established. Additionally, in the coming months, the road connection from Raghopur to Hajipur via Didarganj Chhoti Pahadi will also be made."
It is worth noting that the government has named this road after Nitan Naveen's father and former MLA of Bankipur area, Naresh Sinha. This road will now be known as 'Naresh Sinha Path'.
In the program, the Chief Minister, while giving instructions to the Chief Secretary, said that on the occasion of the anniversary of this project next year, a statue of Naresh Sinha should also be installed on this road.
