Nitish Kumar inspected various projects in Patna city

Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday inspected various ongoing construction projects in Patna city and directed officials to complete the work expeditiously. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today inspected the construction site of Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Park (Bihar Guru Park) being built near Dr. Rajendra Prasad Samadhi Asthal. The Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Park, located near Bans Ghat in Patna, is being constructed in honor of Lok Nayak. During the inspection, Mr. Nitish Kumar directed the authorities to ensure that the construction of the park is done properly near the samadhi asthal of India's first President, Bharat Ratna Dr. Rajendra Prasad. He said that the construction of this park will benefit the people of the area a lot. On one side of this theme park is the samadhi asthal of Bharat Ratna Dr. Rajendra Prasad, while on the other side is the JP Ganga Path, which presents a really beautiful view. It is clear that the Bihar Guru Park is being built on 10 acres of land between the samadhi of the first President of the Republic of India, Bharat Ratna Dr. Rajendra Prasad, and JP Ganga Road. This park will showcase various elements of Bihar's glorious history and culture. The theme park will feature impressive stories of Bihar's great personalities - Arya Bhatt, Chanakya, Samrat Ashoka, Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan, and Dusadh Manjhi. The park will showcase Bihar's architectural heritage, including Nalanda, Vikramshila, temples, and mausoleums. Facilities for food and drink for tourists and playgrounds will also be built. Additionally, a grand memorial complex will be built in memory of Dr. Rajendra Prasad. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inspected the new Muktidham complex at Bans Ghat and inquired about its facilities. He stated that the Bans Ghat cremation ghat has been renovated on approximately four and a half acres of land. It includes civic, religious, and cultural facilities along with the cremation ghat. Mr. Nitish Kumar also inspected the old cremation ghat at Bans Ghat and directed its improvement. He directed that all facilities be provided in the old cremation ghat along with the new Muktidham. Mr. Nitish Kumar also inspected the construction of the market being built near Gandhi Maidan. He inspected the site of the promenade being built from Sabita Dwar to Collectorate Ghat. Officials showed Mr. Nitish Kumar the map of the promenade from Sabita Dwar to Collectorate Ghat, which will include a pedestrian path, street lights, seating, umbrella-sized pillars, and other facilities for visitors. During the inspection, Mr. Nitish Kumar directed the officials to complete all these projects expeditiously so that the city dwellers can benefit from them. Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Chief Minister's Principal Secretary Deepak Kumar, Chief Minister's Secretary Kumar Ravi, Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh, Patna Division Commissioner Animesh Parashar, District Magistrate Dr. Thyagrajan SM, Patna Municipal Corporation Commissioner Yashpal Meena, and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
