The Iranian Revolutionary Guards claimed that as part of Operation "Promise of Truth 4", US facilities in the region, including Bahrain, have been targeted. In a statement issued by the Revolutionary Guards, it was stated that a comprehensive and multi-faceted operation was launched, in which the Aerospace Force and Navy skillfully targeted the US Patriot missile defense system in northern Bahrain.
According to the statement, US HIMARS batteries in Kuwait and the Patriot missile system in northern Bahrain were also targeted. The Revolutionary Guards claimed that modern missiles, including Hajj Qasim, Khyber Buster, and Qader, were used in these attacks. It was further stated that US military facilities in the United Arab Emirates were also targeted, including HIMARS launcher units, command centers, and training centers for senior US military officers and instructors.
The statement added that the US technology company Oracle in the UAE was also targeted. The Revolutionary Guards said that the operation is ongoing and further details of the operations will be released in the future. However, these claims have not been verified by independent sources.
According to the Iranian news agency Tasnim, in a statement issued on Sunday, the Iranian military said that during the operation, air assets were destroyed, including a C-130 military transport plane and two Black Hawk helicopters. After announcing the downing of a US C-130 plane in southern Isfahan, Iranian authorities said that the operation was a joint effort by the Air Force, Army, Public Units, Basij Forces, and Police, during which several "flying objects" of the enemy were targeted.
In this regard, the Iranian military also confirmed the downing of an Israeli drone in the Isfahan area, while local media reported that five Iranian civilians were killed in attacks during a US pilot rescue operation. On the other hand, the US newspaper Wall Street Journal reported, citing informed sources, that the US military carried out drone strikes to prevent Iranians from reaching the pilot.
According to sources, the US military also destroyed two of its own MC-130 planes that got stuck during the rescue mission. On the other hand, according to CBS, US officials claimed that there was also a direct clash between US and Iranian forces during the operation. While Fox News reported that a US official revealed that Washington had also launched a disinformation campaign to deceive Tehran before rescuing the pilot.
All these developments come as US President Trump announced that the US military has also safely rescued the second missing pilot in the province of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad. It is clear that the ongoing war in the Middle East has entered its sixth week. Recall that the F-15E fighter jet crashed inside Iran, but both pilots managed to escape safely using parachutes. Iran claimed that its forces shot down the plane and also announced a reward for those who helped arrest the second pilot, but US special forces managed to rescue both pilots.
Iran's state media claimed that the UAE has also joined the ongoing war against Iran. Iran's state broadcasting agency IRIB said in a post on the social media platform X that it had obtained documents showing the UAE's involvement in the war. The statement claimed that the destruction of a Chinese-made Wing Long-2 drone, which is only used by Saudi Arabia and the UAE, on April 1, indicates that the UAE is involved in the conflict.
Similarly, the flight of a UAE Mirage 2000 fighter jet over Iran's Jask Island on March 22 was also cited as evidence of the claim. However, these claims have not been verified by any independent or international media, and the UAE has not issued an official response in this regard.
It is worth noting that Iran is currently carrying out drone and missile attacks on US military assets in countries hosting US forces, including Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf states, which has further escalated tensions in the region. Trump's 48-hour warning rejected, Iran's counter-threat.
Iran's central military leadership has rejected US President Donald Trump's 48-hour warning and threatened that any attack would be met with a strong and devastating response. Iran's joint military leadership, Commander of the Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbia Major General Ali Abdollahi Ali Abadi, said in a statement that Trump's threat reflects "ignorant, tense, and unbalanced behavior".
In response to Trump's statement that "only 48 hours are left for hell to break out", the Iranian commander bluntly said, "The gates of hell will open for you". The statement added that if Iran faces US or Israeli attacks, it will target all basic infrastructure used by the US and Israel without any restrictions, with continuous and devastating attacks.
The Iranian commander said that the promises made since the beginning of the imposed war have been fulfilled and the same strategy will be continued in the future. President Trump warned again on Sunday that only 48 hours are left before the end of the war, and if Iran does not comply, it will face severe consequences.
Trump wrote on his social media platform "Truth Social" that the time given to Iran to make a deal or open the Strait of Hormuz is ending, and "only 48 hours are left before the start of hell". It is clear that Trump had given Tehran a deadline of April 6, 2026, to open the Strait of Hormuz, which has been effectively closed since February 28, 2026, due to ongoing US and Israeli attacks, otherwise, Iran's energy facilities would be targeted.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the Trump administration believes that targeting bridges and power stations could severely disrupt Iran's missile and nuclear programs. On the other hand, according to Reuters, a senior Israeli defense official said that Israel is preparing to attack Iranian energy facilities, but is waiting for US approval.
The Israeli official said that possible attacks could be carried out in the next few days, while Trump has previously threatened to target Iranian power plants.
