Political activity intensified on Legislative Council elections from Patna Graduate Constituency

Nawada, September 5 (ABN). Political activities have intensified over the Legislative Council elections from Patna Graduate Constituency. JDU's Baahubali MLA Ananth Singh on Saturday announced his support for Nawada educationist Dr Anuj Singh against JDU spokesperson and sitting legislative councilor Neeraj Kumar, has created a stir in political circles. After Anant Singh's announcement, JDU spokesperson Neeraj Kumar's camp has also stirred. Actually Nawada educationist Dr. Anuj Singh was meeting the families of the victims of the recent deaths due to alcohol poisoning in the flood-hit area. During this meeting, he met MLA Anant Singh of Mukama. During the meeting, Anant Singh announced his support to Dr. Anuj Singh in Legislative Council elections from Patna Graduate Constituency.
Anant Singh said that Legislative Council Graduate Constituency elections are not conducted on party lines. Therefore, a deserving candidate can be supported in this election irrespective of any party. He clearly said that he will support Dr. Anuj Singh against JDU spokesperson and sitting Legislative Council member Neeraj Kumar and will work to ensure his victory at all costs. He said that Patna Graduate Constituency includes a total of 26 assembly constituencies, and his supporters in all these constituencies will work in favor of Dr. Anuj Singh. Anant Singh claimed that he would personally lead the election campaign for Dr. Anuj Singh's victory. He challenged that no one can defeat Dr. Anuj Singh.
Ananth Singh also said that Neeraj Kumar is the spokesperson of his party Janata Dal United, but the graduate constituency is not a party-based election. So he will support Dr. Anuj Singh in this election. His statement has sparked a new debate within the JDU and in political circles. After Anant Singh's open support, the Patna Graduate Constituency is now looking increasingly interesting. On one hand, JDU's current Legislative Council member Neeraj Kumar is busy strengthening his candidature, while on the other hand, Dr. Anuj Singh's open support for Anant Singh has given a new twist to the contest.
