Rule of law prevails in Bihar, no need for any section to be frightened: Deputy Chief Minister

Awaz E Bihar•18 May 2026 at 07:22 pm•35 views•3 min read

Patna, May 18, (Press Release) Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary visited the official residence of Janata Dal United's active leader and MLC Dr. Khalid Anwar today, where Dr. Khalid Anwar warmly welcomed him. On this occasion, dozens of responsible persons and leading personalities from various districts of the state, including Araria, Purnia, and Kishanganj, were present, who met the Deputy Chief Minister and had a detailed discussion.

Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary and Dr. Khalid Anwar held an important and detailed meeting with the delegations from various districts in a closed room. In this meeting, there was an open discussion on the social, political, educational, and other public issues facing the Muslim society. The leading people in the delegation presented the problems of their respective areas before the Deputy Chief Minister, who assured them of sympathetic consideration. During this meeting, while appealing to the delegations, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary said that in Bihar, the rule of law is established under the leadership of Nitish Kumar. Here, there is no need for any class, especially minorities, to be intimidated, disappointed, or worried. The government is fully committed to protecting the life, property, and dignity of every citizen.

Later, while talking to media representatives, Vijay Kumar Choudhary said that the political atmosphere of the country and the state is changing rapidly. He claimed that the minority society is currently deeply affected by the developmental policies of the NDA and is looking at us with hopeful eyes. The political parties that have deceived Muslims for decades by using them only as a vote bank have now been understood by the Muslim society. Now, Muslims know who their real sympathizer and supporter is and with whom they should stand. He further said that now, Muslims across the country have decided to sideline the elements who deceive them and the so-called secular leaders.

On this occasion, JD(U) senior leader and MLC Dr. Khalid Anwar said that Janata Dal United is a party that holds a pure socialist ideology, where equal justice is done to all classes. He praised the Deputy Chief Minister, saying that Vijay Kumar Choudhary is among the selected leaders who have been fighting for a long time for the establishment of social equality, social justice, and brotherhood in the state.

Whether it is the issue of the Urdu language, the preservation of Muslim civilization and culture, or the protection of their dignity and rights - Vijay Kumar Choudhary has always taken historic decisions in favor of minorities, standing shoulder to shoulder with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Dr. Khalid Anwar expressed his determination that JD(U) and its leadership will continue to work for the development and prosperity of all classes in Bihar, following the footsteps of Nitish Kumar, for the welfare of all sections in the future.
