A change is being felt on Saturday after two to three days of routine weather in Bihar with morning and evening. Today, the sun has been intense since 6 am, which turned into a heatwave with hot winds and dust by noon. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted an increase in temperature.
The Meteorological Department has not predicted any rain in the state on April 11, indicating dry weather and intense sunshine. The temperature is likely to reach 34 to 38 degrees Celsius in several cities, including Patna, Gaya, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, and Bhagalpur. While there may be some relief in the morning and evening, the heat will bother people during the day.
The Meteorological Department has warned that the situation may worsen in the coming days, especially in the southern and central districts of Bihar, where severe heat is expected. Going out during the afternoon can be dangerous. Therefore, school-going children, farmers working in fields, and the elderly have been advised to take special precautions.
Doctors have also advised people to be cautious. Appeals have been made to drink plenty of water, stay hydrated, and avoid staying in the intense sun to avoid heat-related illnesses.
