Patna, 9 April (ABN) Minister of Fisheries, Dairy and Animal Resources, Srinandji Mahtha said that the partnership between the Dairy Directorate and the Confederation of Indian Industry will be a significant milestone for the development of the dairy sector in Bihar. He stated that the Department of Fisheries and Animal Resources has taken a significant step to give the dairy sector global recognition and increase farmers' income. Under the "Bihar Dairy Transformation Project", a formal "Project Implementation Partnership" has been launched between the Dairy Directorate and CII. The minister said that the primary objective of this strategic partnership is to strengthen the Bihar Dairy Transformation initiative under the Chief Minister's "Saath Nischay" program. Its goal is to promote sustainable dairy farming and ensure market-based development, so that farmers' income can be increased substantially. Srinandji Mahtha expressed confidence that the future will be bright for Bihar. He said that the government is establishing a system that will enable dairy products produced in Bihar to find a place in global markets and increase milk production to bring the state to the forefront in the dairy sector.
