Thirty-two new ministers of the Samarath government took oath in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Patna, May 7 (ABN) The Samrat government expanded its cabinet by inducting 32 new ministers today. At the historic Gandhi Maidan in the capital Patna, Governor Syed Ata Hasnain administered the oath of office and secrecy to all the ministers.
The 15 ministers from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) include Vijay Kumar Sinha, Dilip Jaiswal, Shreyasi Singh, Arun Shankar Prasad, Mithilesh Tiwari, Ram Kripal Yadav, Nitish Mishra, Rama Nishad, Kedar Gupta, Nand Kishore Ram, Ram Chandra Prasad, Engineer Kumar Shailendra, Prem Kumar Chandrashekhar, Sanjay Singh Tiger, and Lakhendra Kumar Roshan.
Thirteen ministers from the Janata Dal (United) - Sharwan Kumar, Lacy Singh, Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha, Md Zama Khan, Shelia Mandal, Ashok Choudhary, Nishant Kumar, Shweta Gupta, Shailendra Kumar alias Balu Mandal, Madan Sahni, Ratnesh Sada, Damodar Raout, and Sunil Kumar - took the oath.
Among the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) allies, two ministers from the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) - Sanjay Kumar Singh and Sanjay Kumar - as well as Deepak Prakash from the National Lok Morcha and Dr. Santosh Kumar Suman from the Hindustani Awam Morcha also took the oath.
Several leaders who took the oath are first-time ministers, including Mithilesh Tiwari, Nishant, Shweta Gupta, Shailendra Kumar alias Balu Mandal, Nand Kishore Ram, Kumar Shailendra, and Ram Chandra Prasad. Three ministers in the Samrat cabinet - Nishant, Nitish Mishra, and Santosh Kumar Suman - have parents who have previously served as Chief Ministers of Bihar. Nishant is the son of former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Nitish Mishra's father, Jagannath Mishra, was the last Congress Chief Minister, while Santosh Suman's father, Jitan Ram Manjhi, also served as Chief Minister of Bihar from 2014-15.
The oath-taking ceremony was attended by a large number of leaders and dignitaries, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda, Textiles Minister Gajendra Singh, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, Chirag Paswan, Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh, BJP national president Nitan Naveen, Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, Deputy Chief Ministers Vijay Choudhary and Vijender Yadav.
Earlier, Prime Minister Modi was given a grand welcome at the airport upon his arrival in Patna. He traveled to Gandhi Maidan by road, where he was warmly welcomed by party workers along the way. At various points, stages were set up, and he was welcomed with folk music, while sadhus and saints from the Bihar State Dharmik Nyas Board also welcomed him with blessings. Notably, two major dreams of the BJP - success in Bengal and having its own Chief Minister in Bihar - have been fulfilled simultaneously, and this success has come at a time when the party's leadership is in the hands of a Bihari leader, Nitan Naveen.
