Vikas Vaibhav's exile ends, made IG of Magadh range

Patna: (ABN) Three days after the expansion of the new government (NDA) cabinet in Bihar, 16 senior police officers have been transferred. All these officers belong to the Indian Police Service (IPS). The most prominent name among them is IPS Vikas Vaibhav. According to a notification issued by the Home Department, senior IPS officer Vikas Vaibhav has been appointed as the Inspector General (IG) of Magadh Range. Vikas Vaibhav was previously posted as an advisor to the State Planning Council.

The responsibility of law and order in districts like Nawada, Aurangabad, Jehanabad, and Arwal has been entrusted to him. Vikas Vaibhav is a 2003 batch IPS officer and has played a prominent role in terrorism, Naxalite operations, and several sensitive investigations during his service in the Indian Police Service.

Meanwhile, another prominent IPS officer, Amit Lodha, has been appointed as the Additional Director General (ADG) of Technical Services and Communications. Prior to this, he was posted as the Additional Director General of the State Crime Records Bureau.

Meanwhile, Neeraj Hassan Khan, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) of the Economic Crimes Unit, has been posted as the Additional Director General of Police in the Bihar Special Armed Police, Patna. Senior IPS officer Amit Raj has been posted as the Additional Director General of Police in the Cyber Crime and Security Unit, Patna. Prior to this, he had served as the Additional Director General of Police (Security).

Dr. Preesh Saxena has been appointed as the Director General-cum-Commissioner of Military Security. Prior to this, he had served as the Additional Director General cum Additional Commissioner in the Military Security Wing. His new posting has been made after his promotion. Nirmal Kumar Azad, who was serving as the Additional Director General of Police in Technical Services and Communications, has been appointed as the Director General of Police (Training). Dr. Amit Kumar Jain, who was holding the post of Additional Director General of Police in the Prohibition and State Narcotics Control Bureau, has been appointed as the Additional Director General of Police in the Economic Crimes Unit.

Meanwhile, Siddhanath Kumar, Additional Director General of Police of the State Crime Records Bureau, has been appointed as the Additional Director General of Police for Law and Order. He will also hold the additional charge of Additional Director General of Police (Traffic) until further orders. Furthermore, Kishtranil Singh, Inspector General of Police of the Magadh Zone, has been appointed as the Special Secretary of the Special Branch within the Home Department. Amit Raj, who was serving as the Additional Director General of Police (Security), has been appointed as the Additional Director General of Police for the Cyber Crime and Security Unit.

Furthermore, Ajitabh Kumar has been appointed as the Additional Director General of Police for the State Crime Records Bureau and Modernization. At the same time, Kamal Kishore Singh has been appointed as the Additional Director General of Police for Railways.
