We never said Lebanon is part of the ceasefire: JD Vance

Awaz E Bihar•9 April 2026 at 02:52 pm•3 views•2 min read

US Vice President J.D. Vance said we never said Lebanon is part of the ceasefire, the US and Pakistan have understood Iran's 10 points. Speaking to the media in Budapest, he said including Lebanon in the ceasefire agreement was Iran's choice, not ours. According to foreign media reports, he said if Iran wants the agreement to be broken because of Lebanon, it will be its choice, the ground reality is that we will negotiate, talks with Iran are starting this week. The US and Pakistan have understood Iran's 10 points, President Trump's position has been conveyed to Pakistani negotiators, it seems Iran has made the 10 points it gave for the first time with Chat GPT, now the points it has given are understood by us and the Pakistanis as well. In response to a question, he said the important point of the negotiations is that we will not allow Iran to acquire nuclear capability, no concession will be given until Iran promises to abandon its nuclear capability. The US Vice President said he has seen Iranian Speaker Qalibaf's tweet, he said no action was taken on some points before the negotiations, I would tell Qalibaf that there are many more points on which action can be taken, what he said does not make any sense.
