Chief Minister said this festival of Diwali brings happiness, harmony, prosperity, and new hopes into everyone's life

Chief Minister Smriti Choudhary, while extending heartfelt wishes to the people of the state on the auspicious festival of Deepavali, prayed for the light of happiness, harmony, prosperity, and new hopes to shine in everyone's life.

The CM, while referring to the sparkling rows of lamps in Ayodhya, appealed to people to incorporate the principles of Bhagwan Shri Rama into their lives and to pledge to build a progressive, prosperous, and radiant future.

In a message released on the social media handle 'X' on Sunday, Mr. Choudhary said that the city of Ayodhya is glowing with the rows of lamps and the life of the people there is being illuminated by the principles of Bhagwan Shri Rama. Quoting the Upanishadic mantra 'Asato Ma Sadgamay' (Lead me from the unreal to the real), he called Diwali a festival that brings positive thoughts and new hopes into life.

The CM said that this festival of Deepavuli should bring happiness, harmony, prosperity, and new hopes into everyone's life. He appealed to people to light the lamps of joy and happiness on this sacred festival and to pledge to build a progressive, prosperous, and radiant future. He also conveyed his heartfelt wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Deepavali.

It is worth mentioning that Deepavali is a major festival of lights in the Hindu religion. According to religious beliefs, Bhagwan Shri Rama, after completing his 14-year exile and defeating Ravana, returned to Ayodhya with Mata Sita and his brother Lakshmana. The people of Ayodhya celebrated his arrival by lighting lamps. This festival is considered a symbol of the victory of light over darkness, truth over falsehood, and good over evil.
