The accumulation of water has made it difficult for local residents to leave their homes, depriving them of basic necessities. Locals say the situation of flooding and erosion is worsening. Residents of the village and town have demanded the district administration to immediately provide relief materials, boats and speed up the erosion prevention work to prevent loss of life and property. The water level of the river rose by 15 cm in the next 12 hours, reaching 32.70 meters by this morning. Due to this rapid rise, the river is now touching the top of the embankments.
