Patna: (ABN) Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary today inaugurated important projects related to education and police infrastructure in Tara Pur, Munger district, giving a major developmental gift to the people of the area. The Chief Minister also inaugurated high schools selected as Saraswati Vidyapeeth (Model School) in the Tara Pur assembly constituency. These model schools have been developed with smart classes, modern science laboratories, computer labs, digital educational facilities, and a well-stocked library.
Under this scheme, +2 Kisan Vedic High School, Luna (Tara Pur), Upgraded Higher Secondary School, Gulni, RNM High School, Rangram, Sita Devi Jagmohan Sah +2 Girls High School, Isarganj, Upgraded Higher Secondary School, Charkhand, Rani Prabhavati High School, Singram Pur, Public High School Badounia, +2 High School Manjhgain, Panchkamari Girls High School, Haweli Khargpur, and Gandhi Memorial +2 High School, Muzaffarganj, among other schools, have been promoted as model schools.
The Chief Minister inspected the smart class, science lab, library, and classroom in the school premises and interacted with the students to gather information about their studies. During this, the Chief Minister also gave necessary instructions to the officials to ensure quality education.
Later, the Chief Minister inaugurated the newly constructed building of the model police station at Harpur in Tara Pur block. After the inauguration, the Chief Minister inspected the police station building and inquired about the facilities provided. The authorities informed that the building has all the necessary facilities, including a public hearing hall, record management, monitoring control room, women and child care room, wireless and computer room.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is continuously working to modernize, strengthen, and activate the police system. The construction of modern police station buildings, police lines, training centers, and other police infrastructure will increase law and order, control crime, and enhance the ability to take prompt action.
Later, the Chief Minister inaugurated the Government Degree College at the Ramanand and Parsi Ram High School campus in Isarganj, Jalalabad. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that under the Seven Resolves 3, the state government's objective is to establish a degree college in every block to provide higher education to rural students near their homes.
He said that the people of Tara Pur have reposed faith in him by electing him as an MLA, which he will fulfill completely. He said that the promise of an Isarganj degree college has been fulfilled today. With the support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, and the NDA leadership, the promise of Bihar's development is being fulfilled rapidly.
The Chief Minister said that earlier, due to difficulties and lack of resources, children from poor families could not prepare for competitive exams like NEET and JEE. But now, arrangements are being made for higher education and quality education in every block. He said that recently, 211 new government degree colleges have been opened in different blocks of the state. This number has now increased to 212.
He said that in all the BEd colleges of Bihar, degree colleges will also be opened in a phased manner. Live class facilities will be available in all blocks, and students will be able to get online guidance from teachers till 11 pm through a digital app. He said that in government schools, there will be half-day classes on Sundays. Better arrangements are being made for sports along with education for the all-round development of students. A sports field will be prepared in front of the Isarganj school.
The Chief Minister said that industries will be set up in Tara Pur, and an international airport will be built, for which the process of land acquisition has started. This will provide employment opportunities to the youth of the region in Bihar, and Munger and Tara Pur will become new centers of development.
He said that the Kanwar Yatra from Sultan Ganj to Baba Dham is a magnificent example of social harmony. Devotees walk over 100 kilometers on foot, wearing clothes of the same color and with the same spirit, to pay obeisance to Baba Bedi Nath. This is a rare example of social equality in the world.
On this occasion, DGP Mr. Viney Kumar, Development Commissioner Mr. Mahesh Kumar Singh, Chief Minister's Secretary Mr. Lokesh Kumar Singh, Divisional Commissioner Mr. Prem Singh Meena, Munger Range Deputy Inspector General of Police Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Additional Director General of Police-cum-Chairman-cum-Managing Director Bihar Police Building Construction Corporation Mr. Pankaj Kumar Daradhar, DM Mr. Nikhil Neopaney, SP Syed Imran Masood, Munger University Vice-Chancellor Professor (Dr.) Sanjay Kumar, along with public representatives, officials, and a large number of other people were present.
