Bihar Board 10th results announced

Patna: (ABN) There is good news for students waiting for the results of the Bihar 10th board. The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the results of the Bihar 10th board, i.e., the matric exam 2026. Education Minister Sunil Kumar and the board's chairman have announced the 10th board results. This time, 81.79 percent of students have passed the Bihar board 10th. Along with the results, BSEB has also released the list of toppers of the 10th board exam. This year, Pushpanjali Kumari from Jamui and Sabrina Parveen from Vaishali have jointly topped. Both have secured 492 marks out of 500. While the pass percentage of girls is higher than that of boys, similar to the 12th board results.

It is clear that this time, most students have passed in the second division. According to the information provided by the Bihar board, 15,10,928 students appeared for the 10th board exam this time. Of these, 7,26,057 were boys and 7,84,871 were girls. The board said that out of these, a total of 12,35,743 students have passed, including 6,34,353 girls and 6,01,390 boys. In terms of overall pass percentage, the pass percentage of girls is higher.

In the Bihar 10th board results, the number of boys who passed in the second division is higher. Out of the total 12,35,743 students who passed, 4,43,723 students passed in the first division. While 4,75,511 students passed in the second division, and the number of students who passed in the third division is 3,03,103. 13,406 students have passed in the pass division.

The board has also released the list of toppers along with the results. This time, 139 students have made it to the top 10 positions in the Bihar 10th board. Of these, 82 are boys, i.e., in the top 10 of the Bihar board 10th results, 139 students, including 82 boys and 57 girls, have made it to the list. Last year, in 2025, 123 students made it to the top 10, including 60 girls and 63 boys.

It is worth noting that the Bihar board 10th exam was held between February 17 and February 25, 2026. After the exam, the copies were checked from March 2 to March 13, after which the results were released today. Last year, in 2025, the Bihar 10th board result was also released on March 29. The Bihar board 12th results have also been released earlier.

It is a moment of pride for Jamui, as the students of Simultala Residential School have once again proved their superiority. In this sequence, the school's student Abhinav Kumar has secured the sixth position in the state by scoring 485 marks, and Sourabh Kumar has secured the 10th position with 481 marks.

Meanwhile, Shubham Kumar Tanti, a student of Gogal Deeh Hayer Secondary School in Barhat block, has secured the eighth position in the state by scoring 483 marks, further highlighting the district's success.

It is clear that the students of Simultala Residential School have been consistently performing well in the matric exams since 2015 and have been making a strong presence in the top 10 every year.

After almost seven years, Simultala Residential School has again got the state top. This is the first time since 2019 that a student from this school has reached the first position in the state. It is clear that Pushpanjali Kumari is a resident of Rajoun in Banka district.
