Captain Innings led Lucknow to a memorable win against Hyderabad

Captain Rishabh Pant's unbeaten half-century (68) and Aiden Markram's aggressive batting helped Lucknow Super Giants defeat Sunrisers Hyderabad by five wickets in a thrilling contest with one ball to spare. This is Lucknow's first win in the tournament, while Hyderabad suffered their second defeat.
Chasing a target of 157 runs, Lucknow had a balanced start. Aiden Markram and Mitchell Marsh put on 37 runs for the first wicket. Mitchell Marsh fell to Ishant Sharma for 14 runs. Aiden Markram played a rapid-fire innings of 45 runs off 27 balls, hitting six fours and two sixes. He was dismissed by Shubhman Gill in the 10th over.
Captain Pant held one end up and played an unbeaten innings of 68 runs off 50 balls, hitting nine fours. He hit a four on the fifth ball of the 20th over to seal the win for his team.
For Hyderabad, Harsh Dubey took two wickets, while Ishant Sharma and Shubhman Gill claimed one wicket each.
Earlier, after losing the toss and batting first, Sunrisers Hyderabad had a dismal start, losing their four top batsmen (Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head, Ishan Kishan, and Liam Livingstone) for just 26 runs. Mohammed Shami took two wickets for nine runs in four overs, dealing a severe blow.
Heinrich Klaasen and Nitish Kumar Reddy put on a big partnership of 116 runs for the fifth wicket to rescue their team from the crisis. Klaasen scored 62 runs off 41 balls, while Nitish Reddy made 56 runs off 33 balls.
Hyderabad scored 156 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the allotted 20 overs. For Lucknow, Mohammed Shami, Pranshu Yadav, and Avinash Khan took two wickets each.
