As the title partner of the ICC Global Business Summit – Edition 2, Bihar showcases its growing industrial potential, investment opportunities and investment-friendly business environment. Industries Minister Ms. Shreesi Singh inaugurated the Bihar Pavilion at the summit held in New Delhi on Friday. Addressing the Bihar State Session, he said that Bihar is moving in a new direction of industrial development with progressive policies, improved industrial infrastructure, and continued focus on ease of doing business. Our engagement with industry is critical in generating new investment, entrepreneurship and employment opportunities.
Investment, industry needs, ease of doing business and opportunities for cooperation were discussed in a Business to Government (B2G) dialogue with representatives from the industrial world. Meanwhile, an MoU was also signed with the Sector Skill Council for sector-specific training under the RAMP initiative, which will strengthen industry-specific skill development in Bihar's MSME sector.
Mr. Kandan Kumar, Secretary of the Committee said that Bihar's industrial ecosystem is continuously being strengthened through improved industrial infrastructure, investment-oriented policies and simplified procedures. Skill development as per industry requirements will further accelerate the competitiveness and growth of the MSME sector.
The Bihar Pavilion showcased the industrial potential of the state, the opportunities available in various sectors and the changing investment ecosystem. Resident Commissioner Mr. Manoj Kumar Singh and Director MSME Mr. Aman Sameer were present during the function.
