Patna: (ABN) Shafiq Mashhadi, SM Parvez Alam, Professor Dr. Tauqir Alam, Professor Dr. Shabab Zafar Aazmi, and Niaz Ahmed were awarded the Kaleemullah Kaleem Dost Lifetime Achievement Award for their invaluable services to the Urdu language and literature. The award was presented by esteemed guests at a seminar hall in Ashok Raj Path, Patna, organized by the Bihar Urdu Academy and the Shah Arzaan Colony, Patna-based Kaleemullah Kaleem Dost Urdu and Literary Committee.

Additionally, young poet Dr. Kamran Ghani Saba, SM Arshad Alam, Beitullah Beit Chhaparvi, and Muhammad Hashim were also awarded the Encouragement Award for their services to Urdu literature. A grand "Jashn-e-Ijra, Awards, and Gul-e-Hind Mushaira" was also held on this occasion. Renowned poet Kaleemullah Kaleem Dost's poetic and research collection "Waqt Sehar" was also launched.

Dr. Asif Saleem, Dr. Anwarul Huda, Sultan Azad, Dr. Arshad Ahmed, Dr. AK Alvi, and Dr. Musarat Jahan presented their papers on "Waqt Sehar". Professor Aleemullah Hali, while presiding over the literary ceremony, said that poetry is a genre that effectively expresses human emotions, feelings, and life experiences. He stated that Kaleemullah Kaleem's poetry reflects intellectual depth, contemporary awareness, and a vivid portrayal of social issues.

According to Aleemullah Hali, Kaleem's poetry impresses readers due to its simple language and profound meaning. He praised Kaleemullah Kaleem's literary services, saying that his poetry is a valuable asset for serious readers of literature. SM Ashraf Farid, the guest of honor, distributed awards and said that Urdu is our language and is dear to us. It is not just a language but a symbol of our civilization, culture, and identity.

Unfortunately, the injustices faced by Urdu continue to this day. It is being constantly neglected in government offices, educational institutions, and the job market. In this context, Kaleemullah Kaleem Dost's book is a significant and valuable addition to the Urdu language and literature. The book not only reflects literary taste but also proves the author's deep love and intellectual affiliation with Urdu.

On this occasion, former Chairman of the Government Urdu Library, Arshad Firoz, Akbar Raza Jamshed, and Professor Tauqir Alam also addressed the gathering. Fakhruddin Aarfi conducted the proceedings, while Parvez Alam expressed gratitude. The event began with the recitation of the Quran by Maulana Makramul Hasani Nadvi, followed by a mushaira at the end of the prose section.
