Nitesh Kumar's gift of Rs 466 crore projects for Bhujpur district

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday gifted development projects worth Rs 466 crore to Bhojpur district during his 'Samriddhi Yatra'. Mr. Kumar inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 494 projects worth Rs 197 crore and 227 projects worth Rs 269 crore respectively in Bhojpur district through remote. Mr. Kumar reviewed various development projects in Bhojpur district and sought information from officials about the announcements made during the 'Pragati Yatra' and directed them to complete the work quickly.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar laid the foundation stone of a 100-bed Critical Care Block (CCB) at a cost of Rs 44.50 crore in the premises of Government Medical College and Hospital in Bhojpur district. He also inspected the educational building of Government Medical College and Hospital, Bhojpur. He inquired about the construction work of the hospital building, doctors and staff quarters, etc. and directed the officials to complete the work soon.
Mr. Kumar inspected the stalls put up by various departments and gathered information about various activities and products related to employment from Jeevika Didis. He also provided a symbolic check of Rs 23.6 crore to Jeevika self-help group didis.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar provided symbolic checks of Rs 3.90 crore to 78 beneficiaries of the Chief Minister's scheme. Besides, beneficiaries of Mukhyamantri Talab Maahi Prasad Yojana, Inter-Caste Marriage Scheme, Chief Minister Kanya Utthan Yojana, and other departmental schemes were also given symbolic checks. He inspected the stalls of the departments of education, health, urban development and housing, social welfare, dairy, fisheries and animal husbandry, agriculture, and industry and appreciated the development work.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reviewed various major infrastructure projects in Bhojpur district, including the expansion of the road from zero mile to Ashmi Flyover (NH-30), construction of a ring road for Ara city, conversion of Ara-Buxar (NH-922) to Chhapra road from four lanes to six lanes, expansion and improvement of railway station to Katira road and other important routes, strengthening of protective embankment from Chandwa to Dharhara, construction of road along the canal, and development and beautification of the Deo Surya temple complex. He directed the officials to complete all the projects quickly.
Later, the Chief Minister reached the Agricultural Produce Market Committee in Ara, where he inaugurated the renovation and construction of the market committee premises at a cost of Rs 57.85 crore and inspected the facilities there. During this, he inspected the agricultural products and fruits and gathered information about their quality and production.
Additionally, he inaugurated the "Jeevika Mart-cum-Training Center" (cost Rs 29.99 lakh) in the market committee premises and reviewed its functioning. Similarly, he also inaugurated the "Swadika Cafe" (cost Rs 20.75 lakh) and gathered information about the facilities available there.
