On Eid Milad-ul-Nabi, Nitish Kumaru Tejaswi Yadav laid a wreath in the monasteries of Patna

Patna: On the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi, former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejaswi Prasad Yadav visited various historical monasteries and dargahs in Patna and offered prayers for peace, prosperity, brotherhood and communal harmony in the state and the country. There, he met Pir Hazrat Maulana Ayatollah Qadri of the Khanqah and laid a traditional wreath on the dargah of the founder of the Khanqah, Hazrat Maulana Pir Mujibullah Qadri. He said that he has been coming to Khanqah Mujibia for many years and has an old relationship with this dargah. According to him, coming here gives him a sense of peace. Khanqah Manager Hazrat Maulana Minhajuddin Qadri Mujibi and Member of Assembly Shyam Rajk welcomed Nitish Kumar. After that, he visited the religious places in the premises of the monastery and participated in the veiling ceremony. The Mujibia monastery has been spreading the message of peace, humanity and brotherhood since its establishment. There is no discrimination on the basis of religion and sect. Hazrat Allama Maulana Syed Shah Muhammad Ayatollah Qadri, the current Sajjad Nashin of Khanqah Mujibia, is the eleventh Sajjad Nashin of the Khanqah. Every year, a four-day Urs is held here on the occasion of the birth of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. A large number of devotees and pilgrims from the country and abroad arrive on this occasion. Every year on the occasion of Urs, wreaths are offered and prayers are offered for peace, prosperity and peace in the state. As news of Nitish Kumar's arrival spread, a large number of devotees and locals thronged the monastery. Former Chief Minister welcomed the people and congratulated them on Eid Milad-un-Nabi. Earlier, RJD leader Tejaswi Prasad Yadav visited Khanqah Bargah-e-Ishq Takiya Sharif at Mittan Ghat in Patna City. He laid a wreath on the dargah here and prayed for peace, prosperity, happiness and development in Bihar. Khanaqah Bargah Ishq Takiya Sharif is one of the historical dargahs of the region and is said to be associated with the Sufi tradition of Bihar and the Ganges Jamni civilization. A large number of devotees from different parts of the region arrive here on the occasion of the annual Urs. There is a dargah of Hazrat Khwaja Ruknuddin Ishq at this place, while its historical connection is also said to be with Tipu Sultan's family. Tejaswi Yadav also visited Mujibiya Monastery in Phalwari Sharif on Wednesday evening, where he laid a wreath on the dargah and prayed for the prosperity of the state.
