On Independence Day, a grand patriotic group song competition was held at the Bihar Legislative Assembly auditorium

Patna, August 15: On the occasion of the 80th Independence Day, a grand patriotic group song event was organized in the auditorium of the extended building of the Bihar Legislative Assembly.
The program was inaugurated by Bihar Governor Lieutenant General (Retired) Syed Ata Hasnain, Bihar Legislative Assembly Speaker Dr. Prem Kumar, and Deputy Speaker Naren Narayan Yadav by jointly lighting the lamp.
The Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, in his welcome address, congratulated the countrymen on Independence Day, saying that this day is filled with extreme pride and emotions.
Dr. Kumar said that for the first time on the occasion of Independence Day, a patriotic song competition was organized among the women officers and employees of the Assembly Secretariat. This initiative of the Bihar Legislative Assembly Secretariat is a meaningful effort to provide a platform for women's capabilities and creative abilities. He congratulated all the participants of the patriotic song singing competition, saying that they should perform with full enthusiasm and confidence, and when they come on stage, they should have the feeling that they are not just participating in the competition, but are expressing their devotion to the motherland and their feelings towards the nation through their song.
The Speaker of the Legislative Assembly appealed that on this Independence Day, everyone should take a pledge to perform their duties with full honesty, strengthen the values of the Constitution and democracy, and contribute to the construction of a capable, prosperous, developed, and self-reliant India.
Governor Mr. Hasnain said on the occasion that the ways of respecting patriotism can be different, but national sentiment can be awakened through songs, dances, and social activities. He mentioned the music of the army's drum and brass band, saying that it is an experience that gives goosebumps. He said that on the occasion of Independence Day, there is a wonderful tradition of showcasing patriotism by waving the tricolor on high peaks and the Line of Control by the country's army.
